Bio: As an elite ninja from Takigakure (the Village Hidden among Waterfalls), Kakuzu took on a mission to assassinate the First Hokage. This mission, however, ended in failure before the might of the First Hokage's Mokuton jutsu. Despite the insurmountable danger faced in the mission, what awaited his return to his village was the stigma and harsh punishment associated with failure of his objective. In response to this treatment, a wrong levied against a shinobi who had put life and limb on the line for his village, Kakuzu came to hold a violent hatred as he escaped from imprisonment. In his flight from the village, Kakuzu killed the village elders, took their hearts, and fled with knowledge of the village's most prized forbidden techniques.

Jutsu: Name: Earth Grudge Fear

Effect : This technique transforms the user's body to something similar of a rag-doll, held together by hundreds of thick black threads. Kakuzu is able to manipulate these threads for many purposes. He is capable of detaching his limbs and manipulating them for long range attacks, as well as sewing up any injuries that he may suffer. He can also use these threads to sew up damaged bodies of others, as demonstrated with Deidara's arms and Hidan's head.

The most significant point of these threads are that they grant Kakuzu a form of immortality (though he declines to think of it that way). Aside from sewing up his injuries, he can use the threads to tear into a victim's body and steal their still functioning organs and integrating them into his own body, extending his life. Kakuzu usually uses this method to steal hearts from powerful shinobi, able to store up to five hearts at any given time (meaning all five hearts must stop functioning in order for Kakuzu to die).

These hearts Kakuzu took from others are stored in various animal masks sewn onto his back, granting him vast amounts of chakra and numerous elemental affinities. He can detach these masks and have them take on a body of their own, composed entirely of threads. These masks are capable of attacking separately, unleashing devastating blasts of elemental chakra.

These threads can also compact together to form a spider-like body around Kakuzu, allowing him to fuse the attacks of his masks together in order to increase his attacking power.

Masks:

Each of these masks, held together by Kakuzu's black threads, stores another shinobi's heart and gives him vast amounts of chakra and elemental-affinity, as well as an extension of lifespan. Interestingly, these masks resemble those of ANBU, suggesting that perhaps Kakuzu has stolen the hearts of ANBU members at some point.

Water mask: This mask and such techniques is never present, but since Kakuzu is from a water based village, it can be assumed that his original heart (or a shinobi that did have such a heart, as his original heart might have died of old age) remains in his true body.

Earth mask: It is unknown what animal this mask is, as it was destroyed before it could be seen, but the heart has an earth-affinity. It allows Kakuzu to harden his entire body, which forms a near-invincible defense. Kakuzu can also harden parts of his body to strengthen his strikes.

Tiger-like mask: This heart has a fire-affinity and it takes on the shape of a demonic bear. It is capable of launching destructive waves of fire. This mask can also unite with the Eagle-mask to launch a fire-wind dual strike that is near unstoppable.

Bull-like mask: This heart has a lightning-affinity and it takes on the shape of a some sort of deformed bipedal. It can launch twin bolts of lightning that can pierce through enemies.

Eagle-like mask: This heart has a wind-affinity and it takes on a strange four-legged body with thin wings. It can launch a heavily dense and high-pressured tornado that can blow away anything in its path. It can unite with the Tiger-mask to launch a fire-wind dual strike that is near unstoppable.

Effect : Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. Unlike other clones, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person. Sasuke Uchiha claims that the Sharingan can tell the difference during his battle with Naruto at the Valley of the End, albeit they might just make him able to keep an eye on the original Naruto.

Abilities: Unique Body StructureAll of Kakuzu's abilities revolve around his unique body structure, which is composed of hundreds of thick dark gray threads woven throughout his flesh called Earth Grudge Fear, holding his body together like stitches of a rag-doll. This allows him to separate his body parts at will to perform long-range physical attacks and sew up almost any injury he suffers, making him very difficult to defeat (Although it is proven that Kakuzu has internal organs and blood, he somehow does not injure himself when separating his body parts in this fashion).

The threads can also be used to repair the bodies of others, as seen which he reattached Deidara's arm, although Hidan's inability to die after being dismembered causes him to be Kakuzu's most frequent patient. Kakuzu can use his own body's threads to attack from long-range and restrain or dismember opponents. His threads can even compact together to form a giant spider-like form around his body.

Taijutsu and Physical Strength
Kakuzu has also shown to be very skilled dangerous close range fighter. He has demonstrated surprising speed for his size that unfocused eyes have difficulty keeping up with. His raw strength is great enough to catch one of Choji's enlarged punches with a single hand as well as lift and choke two people at the same time. His taijutsu skill has shown to be very high as well during his fight with Kakashi (who is quite skilled in taijutsu himself) as he easily fights on par with him.

Longevity and Experience
Kakuzu's threads have granted Kakuzu a degree of immortality (though he declines to think of it that way). The threads can pierce the flesh and bodies of others, allowing him to remove their organs and integrate them into his own body, thereby extending his life. He most commonly removes hearts in this fashion, keeping a total of five at any one time. Four hearts are stored in animal-shaped masks on his back. With five hearts, Kakuzu essentially must be killed a total of five times before he will truly die.

Kakuzu can also draw on his lifetimes of experience to keep ahead of his opponents and outmaneuver their attacks. After having lived over 90 years, Kakuzu feels there is nothing he hasn't seen in combat and believes there is no tactic he is not prepared for.

Five Elements
Kakuzu with all his heartsThe hearts captured from ninja grant Kakuzu numerous elemental affinities and a vast supply of chakra. The raw power of each element Kakuzu demonstrates even made Kakashi, who is also capable of multiple elements, stiff with awe. The individual hearts can be released from his body and wrapped in a vast blanket of threads, forcing a heart into a limb before being detached or forming a monstrous body with a mask as its face. These masks can move and attack independently, unleashing powerful blasts of elemental chakra from their mouths.

Fire - A monkey-like mask with red lips, it forms a hunched backed-shaped body and can fire huge waves of flame, which spread across the ground consuming everything it touches within a half mile radius. These explosion of fire spreads out in every direction. It can fuse with the eagle mask to create a dual fire/wind attack that is almost impossible to stop.

Lightning - A bull-like mask with a deformed bipedal body along with a yelow nose, it can unleash deadly twin lightning bolts.

Wind - An eagle-like mask with a strange four-legged body and thin thread wings and blue markings on it`s mouth, it can project huge hurricane-force air blasts that are capable of leveling a large region of forest. This mask can fuse with the monkey-like mask to create a more powerful attack.

Earth - This last mask was broken by Kakashi Hatake before being seen. Kakashi confirms its earth-based nature after watching the corresponding hand seals and Earth Spear techniques, and defeats it with a technique utilizing lightning chakra, the weakness of earth.

Water - The last mask of Kakuzu,it is a water based mask that can do water-based jutsus,combined with lightning it can become a deadly combination.

Effect : The user, emerging from the ground below the target area, pulls down the opponent so that only their head is above ground. Unable to move, the opponent can be easily decapitated or tortured.

Kakuzu is able to overturn the earth into a large dumpling-shaped chunk of earth the size of a mausoleum. Using his immense strength, he can lift up the ball and hurl it at his opponent, flattening everything in its path.

Bakuretsu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu
Bakuretsu kage Bunshin, is yet another kinjutsu derived from its origina jutsu, kage bunshin no jutsu. its said to be a very powerful Ninjutsu technique where the ninja creates a suicidal Kage Bunshin (shadow clone). After creating it, the ninja can cause the clone to remotely detonate and explode in combat, taking anyone immediately surrounding it out. When used in close combat, without the enemy noticing, this technique can be quite deadly. ( range for explosion reaching 10-15 ft)

Costs: Now similar to Kage Bunshin, you take the same formula. Now, that would be yourself and your clones with the same amount of chakra. However, the chakra used in these clones relate to their explosive power. The higher the chakra, the stronger the blast. The stamina damage will be a result of adding x2 chakra to the clone.Nowever, none of that chakra will be returned as it is used for the blast. So the less clones, the more chakra per clone. Resulting in higher damage.
