ROUND ONE- XzenYouji vs Yakate

Battle starts when the 1st of the two users post.

Some blood appeared from the ground and then Youji raised from the blood. He stood there and waited for hos opponent

Yakate walked straight into the grassy field, and gulped. This was sacred battle grounds, the greatest of all ninja had fought here at one time. Fighting here would be such an honor... and stage fright settled into him as well. Was he really worth the challenge he had been given? Fight to the top? He hadn't even mastered his sand element yet...

Oh well. Walking upto the field, he noticed a man come up out of nowhere from a pool of blood. With a look of disgust on his face, he stood still, and smiled irritatitingly, bowing at his opponent, then swiftly getting back up, assuming a normal fighting stance, while surging fire chakra near his limbs, lest required to swiftly dodge a particular attack launched by his enemy.

"Your call..."

Youji saw his opponent bowing and made a bow too then toked a shuriken out from his pocket "I will let you make the first move"

Eye twitching, he noticed his enemy holding a single shuriken in his arm; the sign to start off with a basic battle of aim and force. But he ahd to do something special. He couldn't carry sand around him always, he needed storage. All of his puches that would be full of kunai and shuriken, were now full of sand. This didn't really hamper his movement speed, but still, it was uncomfortable.

Now to try something new; mirage shurikens? Sand-based shuriken which were as good as the original, just more expendable. He made a few handsigns, then drew a long thread of sand out of his pouch viz chakra. "Sand Style: Mirage shurikens!"

Instantly, over 200 shuriken formulated, and went soaring towards his enemy. Dodge that... but he couldn't underestimate anything.

Youji smiled and stabed himself with the shuriken in the hand and then he tooked out another shuriken and throwed them both at the enemy and then he made a few handsigns "Ninja Art: Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu " The shurikens then multiplied and blocked every shuriken the man throwed. He then smiled "Interesting.......And i forgot my name is XzenYouji......Yours"Then Youji swinged his arms and blood drops came out from his hands that instantly transformed into senbons and aimed the man.

Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique

Snatching his breath into his throat, he slid over to the left to avoid the senbon thrown at him. "Bloody senbon..."

Analysis of the battle? His enemy's name was Youji, member of the Xzeno clan, the fabled legacy of ninja who had the power of elemental eyes, enhancing their elemental power with weapons. The only truly remarkable thing about their bloodline was the use of the element, blood. Literally, use your own blood in battle. And he was witnessing this firsthand. Truly remarkable...

Back to the battlefield. "Call me Tsuno, Yakate. Nice to have your acquiantance."

Formalities taken care of, Yakate jumped a few feet backwards, and, keeping his momentum to jump backwards several times in succession, he performed several handisgns in mid-jump, and lighted up an arm with fire, lieterally, like a matchstick. Then he began swinging his arm outwards, like a bartender rapidly giving out drinks, aiming towards Youji, sending out 5 bold streaks of fire soaring straight at him, However, one was mis-aimed and went slightly to the left, mssiing target completely.

"Damn..."

Description: The user performs a number of handsigns. Finishing off with a motion similar to lighting a match, the user literally ignites one hand, sending out rapid bursts of fire out of the user's hand. Usually lasts for upto 5 flare-streaks, which take no more than 5 seconds to shoot out.

Youji grinned he tooked out his scythe and then the scythe transformed"Scythe form 3: Cerberus"he then started rotating the scythe and blocked the fire attacks but the fire was actually absorbed by the scythe he then made a slash in the air and thge fire was sended towards Yakate in a blade form"I have something to tell you, fire attacks won't work on me because of my scythe. It can actually absorb flames and then i can send them back to the one that launched them"

Okay. Other analysis. Last one was incomplete. His scythe had an alignment of fire. Or somethinglike that. And apprently, it also had different forms, which he would ahve to watch and see to find out. Best course of action for now would be to knock off the scythe from his arms...

He ignored the burst of fire that surged towards him, merely converting it into fire chakra, to restore his lost stamina. Since fire would be blocked just like that, he had to use his sand power; in which he was still a complete novice. Still standing straight, he concentrated fire chakra into his feet. His favorite jutsu, one that allowed him to speed up drastically. The next moment he just vanished...

In reality, he was circling all around his opponent for the battle, lightning fast, or should he say, fiery fast. Holding a hand upto his mouth, he began blowing out furiously, firing fierce, minature fireballs shaped like oversized water drops at Youji, from all directions. Maybe half of them would be absorbed, then sent back for his own regenerative purposes. At least a fourth of them would make contact. And then he would finish with... something.

Description: The user shifts one hand into a handsign, and blows through it. Instantly, fire-balls shaped like water drops shoot out of the user's mouth, as if blowing out bubbles, except with much more force. The fireballs are weak, but numerous, and effective against large numbers of enemies.

Youji Lifted his hands and then he was covered in a blood ball. The fireballs were blocked by the blood and the the blood returned in his body then the scythe started glowing and changed it's form again"Scythe form 2 : Silent Night"Youji then hitted the ground with the scythe and then he throwed some earth in front of him, but doind all this things should provoke some sound but it seems that his action were like in a mute movie, yes it was his scythe ability in the second form, it can make the user invisible for the ears. He then made a few handsigns and started dissapearing.

Description: By controlling the reflection of light from one's surroundings with chakra, one can make oneself invisible. This allows the user to sneak up on their enemy without being noticed. It is impossible for people with normal eyes to find out the user's location. Only those with special eyes like the Sharingan or Byakugan can see through this technique.

Yakate was still dashing around, and noticed that Youji seemed to be disappearing, dematerializing, he was turning invisible. He couldn't hear him either; something was strange about his scythe. What might this be? ...

He could clearly sense his chakra. Obviously... performing such powerful ninjutsu, and weilding such a weapon, naturally, his chakra signature was hard not to notice. Now to find out where exactly he was...

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

... SIghing, he stopped his furious dash, and jumped into the air. Waving his arms over his puched full of sand, he drew out all of it, in mid-air, and when he was directly above the spot where Youji was before he disappeared, he threw down all of the sand in a wide-spread, horizontal motion, covering an area of a radius 5 meters with sand. Being done, Yakate landed near the edge of the sandy spot, and noticed that Youji asn't standing on the sand. Neither was he hit by it. He slowly walked to the center of the spot; he would notice when he was approaching the instant he touched the sand. And hopefully, his reflexes would save him from further mishaps... yes, fire chakra was still flowing in unison with his blood and nerve system. It would be rather diffcult for any normal ninja to break through his defenses... unless this particular ninja could fly. Doubtfully...

Youji started thinking he then jumped and aimed to cut yakate but then he cancelled the jutsu effect and made the scythe in her third form, he then said "It will be kinda boring to beat you like this and i will make it more interesting by letting you see me"

Approached by a scythe this time...

... The sand beneath him didn't serve just one purpose. With a look of malice in his face, Yakate sunk into the ground-just like that. Instantaneous, immediate, he disappeared in a whirl of sand...

... And reappeared some paces behind where Youji originally was, before lunging at him with his scythe. While Youji had his back turned, and while his momentum kept him lunging towards the spot where Yakate was at moments before, Yakate swiftly went through a number of handsigns, ending off by encircling one hand with a red aura...

And as long as that red aura was still existant on his arm, he quickly jabbed his arm in a jerky movement towards Youji's hips; even if he turned around to block him, his hips would remain fully vulnerable. And the hit would be twice as effective if he accidentally aimed a little lower when he turned around... keke.

Description: The user peforms several handsigns. Instantly, a red aura surrounds one hand. This aura lasts no longer than 1 second. However, if the user manages to make contact with any surface while the aura still exists, the said surface will erupt in a series of spontaneous combustions, enough to scorch an arm of a grown man. This also recoild against the user, giving him a fifth of the damage given.

Youji made a few handsigns and the xzeno seal that he had started glowing then 5 xzeno titans appearead and one of then blocked yakate's attack and the other 4 aimed him with a punch in order to crush his, then Youji jumped on one of the titans and waited to see how yakate will react.


Xzeno Seal 4: (Titans Age): Five Xzeno Titans are summoned to block and protect their master. They are able to take a great deal of damage without being harmed.

Yakate was totally yaken aback, as 5 titans appeared out of nowhere, not only blocking his puch, but sending four punches right back at him, at the same speed that he performed his jutsu. Nonplussed, he got hit flatly by the punches, flying backwards, about 3 meters, before flipping over onto his feet again. He was shaking on thr ground, staggered, clutching his right hand with his left.

But that was no where near enough to take him down. Wiping off spit from his lips with his left hand, he grinned passively, but still said not one word. Silent battles were battles where he performed best.

He was no longer standing on the sandy spot of land; he was knocked out of it cleanly after getting throttled by four titans. Youji was sitting on top of a titan, rather like standing. Same thing really, since the titan was his pawn, he was king. Now to knock him off somehow...

He stared at the ground in front of, sandy ground. All the five titans were standing on the sand. Another idea popped up in his head. Showing out several handsigns, he stared bluntly at the sand, as a sort of ship-like, fat, protrusion pushed out of it. Using that single tendril of sand, he began whipping at the feet of all five of the titans, focefully and powerfully, hopingly destroying the massive summons.

Description: The user performs several handisgns, then focuses on any body of sand. Using his/her chakra, the user makes a kind of fat tentacle-like protrusion out of the sand, and thrusts it quickly and powerfully at the enemy.

Youji made a few handsigns and his seal started glowing again. Yakate was cought in Youji's genjutsu now the titans were hit by the tendril and felt but what Yakate's eyes were seeing is that the titans jumped back and then the tendril attacked him 10 times stronger.

Youji then made a few more handsigns and a cloud of poisonous gas enfulges the battlefield. The gas was very poisonous but it seemed that Youji wasn't affected by it. Youji was looking at yakate and how the poison got all around him he just waited for him to breath.

Xzeno Seal 3: (Xzeno Illusion): Makes the illusion that an attack is completely blocked without flaw, and reverses it back at the opponent 10x stronger.

Xzeno Seal 15: (Poisoned Landscape): The air over the entire battlefield becomes engulfed in a cloud of poisonous gas, though the user is unharmed because of a built-up immunity. The poison is called Black Shade, and kills very slowly and painfully after it is inhaled. The body starts to bleed from the inside out.

Such a quick variation of moves, such a short time...

First of all, his mind swept into logic again. XzenYouji, was a master of a large number of Xzeno seals, unfortunately for him. Luckily, he had studied about the Xzenos and their various mysteries as well.

Thus said, he easily saw through the genjutsu, breaking out of it easily, smiling whe he saw that the tendril met it's mark hard. The titans were nothing to be underestimated though. There were still up and ready for a fight. Oh why didn't he look for his own summoned creature...

And yet again, and easily flaw in his attack. Ninja basics he had taught himself while he was genin, do NOT inhale any strange gases emitted by any particular substance (unless it's food, in which case, eat first, sniff later). The color of the battlefield was enough to tell Yakate that it was a poison. The name of the poison escaped him though. How long could he keep holding his breath...? It had been 10 seconds...

Quick thinking; instinctively, he performed several handsigns in quick succession. Focusin his chakra upon water droplets still remaining in the air, he noticed a slight disturbance caused by the poison. FOrcing his chakra into the air, steam literally protruded out of his body. Uncomfortable, but necessary to defend himself. A few moments later, while he was finding it increasingly difficult to hold his breath dur to chakra control, the area converted from a poison cloud do a hot, humid, cloudy mist. There... at least he was safe for a while, when Youji couldn't see him at all.

Description: The user performs several handisgns, and heats up his/her body greatly. Then, the user concentrates his palms with that heat, literally boiling the water droplets in the air, making a dense, humid mist cover the field of usage. This mist can be cleared with weak winds and cold temperatures.

As the mist covered the field Youji grinned"You think that's enough to stop me" he then started making a few handsigns and mirrors started appearing all over the field and made a few more handsigns and some small ice balls started flowing in the air all over the field.

Xzeno Seal 14: (Deceptive Mirrors): Mirrors appear all around the opponent and the battlefield. Every time he/she looks into one of the mirrors, he/she feels like he's being stabbed in the chest. Over time, internal bleeding will start from the brain believing that the body is actually being stabbed.

Xzeno Seal 17: (Ice Bombs): Small bombs of ice cover the area. They work like landmines. If touched, they explode.

"Ehm... you're not actually forcing me to move."

The field was now misty, icy, and surrounded by mirrors that worked off genjutsu. Yes, he was disabled from any possible movement. But who said he had to move? He sat down on the spot he was on, staring at the ground beneath him, and began to focus his chakra at the center of his wounds; the wound caused by the massive titans. Nothing forced him to move about, he could sit there and recover all he wanted.

But of course, that would be oh so boring. Instead of doing as he planned, he searched around for sand on the ground with his chakra. If he was correct, there would be a massive area full of sand somewhere near him... aha!

Still concentrating on the ground, he began to pull the sand nearer to him, forming yet another circle-like area of a radius 2 meters around him. There, perfect defense against any attacks, while he slowly recovered himself. And if he was right, Youji himself couldn't try and approach him, since he might as well crash into an ice bomb; the mist he made would hide anything and everything from view.

Another possible course of action that Youji might take, was to use another Xzeno seal and attempt an indirect attack. In which case, he would definitely lose a lot of chakra. If his studies proved him correct, Xzeno seals were not chakra-free abilities. Using his own attack against him... marvelous, Yakate. All his current defenses were, near-invisibility (From the mist), sand defense (Sand lying on the ground), and... that was it Um, why list those anyway? Stupid...

The titans got around Youji to protect him. He tooked a meditating position in order to concentrate and recover some chakra. He waited for his opponent to make a move so he will now his location.

... Silently, he began thinking on the offensive. If both of them sat there sitting and meditating, the fight would just have to start all over again, except Youji, with the advantage of 5 titans, would leave him handicapped. Sand was gatehred all around him, and some specks of sand lay over the battlefield of pure grass...

Grass...

...

Forest fires were a natural disaster. What about a grass fire? If that even existed... And if it did. it wouldn't be so natural anymore... keke. That sounded so stupid...

Nevertheless, this was the only thing he could think of, since titans were surrounded Youji. The mist was as thick as ever; he could only guess where Youji was for the six different yet similar chakra signatures in a certain spot. Five golems, and his strange blood chakra.

He performed several handsigns, and silently as he could, lest he would betray a sign of discomfort from his hiding spot. Then, his arm flashed red. As soon as that happened, he thrust his shining arm violently towards the ground; the ground that would be facing Youji and his titans in a straight line. Immediately, the ground literally exploded in a blast of a fire chakra. Yakate's attack towards the ground was powerful enough, to send continuous, deadly explosions of fire chakra erupt over and over again, incinerating the grass beneath it. It streamed towards Youji, and met up with his titans. What now...? A single fire combustion had the power to burn up a tree. What would the effect be to a giant titan, if the number of explosions was over ten? ...

... Besides that, Yakate noticed several other explosions in the air. The mirrors, just blew up in contact of the severe heat and force generated by the explosion. And some ice balls, that were between him and Youji, just floating in mid-air, serenely, also exploded violently. Hopefully, this would mask the original bursts of fire from the ground, all these extra sounds, disguising his attack, making it difficult for Youji to react and retort... possibly.

Youji sensed the fire chakra that was coming towards him and he grinned. He made a few handsigns and jumped in the air, a eruption appeared right under him he placed his hands in front of the eruption and started absorbing chakra from it and easily the fire started dissapearing. He regenerated some of his chakra by absorbing from the attack he then made a few more handsigns and his xzeno seal started glowing and then a sonic boom was sent towards yakate

Blocking Technique Absorption Seal
A highly advanced sealing technique that is capable of absorbing any chakra, regardless of any spacial or nature transformation, and dispersing it within one's body by spinning the chakra within one's body in the opposite direction. As a result, this technique can absorb any ninjutsu based technique, regardless of power, without harming the user.This jutsu can be used only 5 times in a battle
This technique also has an offensive use. Should the user get close enough to grab the opponent, the barrier can absorb chakra right out of an individual's body, effectively draining them

Xzeno Seal 18: (Eerie Soundwave): A sonic boom is sent outward from where the user is standing. The soundwave causes horrible headaches, ringing in the ears, and the equilibrium can be messed up, throwing off the center of balance of anyone caught in the wave.

Failed again... Would none of his attacks meet it's mark?

Before he had time to recover from his jutsu, however, a blast of sound, a snoic-boom came sailing towards him; yet another Xzeno Seal attack. He wasn't fast enough to counter it, and he was still sitting on the ground; the grass in front of him, burning wildly, even brighter because of the dense, hot mist. The sonic boom blasted into him...

His mind wailed out in pain, his brain, disarrayed, unable to think. Sound, weak as it may be, had major effects upon peple's ears, and in this case, his head as well. He felt nauseous and dizzy, as he slammed his back onto the ground, so as to not lose his balance. The sensation of utter pain...

... But. The sonic boom's sound only lasted for a few seconds. Dizzy as he was, Yakate easily stood up, wavering a little on his feet, eyes locked on Youji. No longer, he wouldn't be unprepared for any other attack...

The both of them were about 10 meters apart; him surrounded by titans. He let out the soundwave in mid-air; naturally he was snug and safe on the ground now. How to destroy the titans... eh.

He concentrated his chakra upon the sand lying all over the ground, and gathered it around him, in a tight circle. Then, the sand rose up and around him, forming a sort of broken egg shell. With the sand floating around him, covering Yakate upto his shoulders, he folded his arms, waiting for Youji's next move. And somehow, Yakate noticed a second use for the sand. They pushes against his feet gently, keeping him upright; his head was still spinning, hurting, from the Xzeno sound wave. Yet his confidence was unwavered, unchanged, he would fight to his fullest. The battle was technically at a new start, since Youji recovered most of his chakra, and Yakate still had huge chakra reserves remaining. Both were unharmed, except Yakate was relatively dizzy. And Youji was totally unscratched, unharmed, why?...

Youji then grinned"He's kinda strong maybe i should raise the fight with one more level" Youji made the titans dissapear and then made a few more handsigns his seal started glowing and then ten, 20ft tall element dragons are summoned around Youji."This will work good"He then jumped on the back of one dragon and then he commanded one dragon that had the water element to attack him and another one with lightning element to do the same. Youji thought that he may block Yakate's sand attack by hitting him with water, because as everyone knows sand is almost useless when it's combined with water and the lightning attack was to affect his nerval system if the water hits him and the lightning does the same. He then waited in the air to see his opponents moves. He knew thatit will be kinda hard for Yakate to attack him in the air. At this moment it seemed he had the advantage.

Xzeno Seal 9: (Dragon's Wrath): Ten, 20ft tall element dragons are summoned to protect the user. They can be commanded to attack the enemy with multiple element-based attacks too. They are heavily armored and very hard to kill.

Dragons this time. Xzenos were limitless in their summoning pwoers... once again, he cursed himself for never bothering to learn how to summon.

More study analysis; the 9th Xzeno seal allowed the user to summon ten dragons of formidable height and size. Each of these had elemental abilities of their own, making the ultimate summoning jutsu. Chakra costs for this would be immense...

And two of these massive dragons were charging at him. Guessing by their color, one was water, the other lightning. Nice, fatal combination of attacks, lest it made contact. Ad well thought out; sand wouldn't go well with water, it would go damp. Bad. Unusable...

But nothing said that he had to use his sand to defend him. The two dragons were attacking him with their respective elemental power, the water dragon, a stream of water, the lightning one, with a zap of lightning. Hm...

Use fire to boil the water, and merge it with the water droplets in the mist? Use his sand, to negate the flow of electrons in the lightning? That just might work...

The sand formed a broken egg-shell around him. Since the speed of lightning was faster than water, lightning hit the sand first, and grounded itself, conveniently. The stream of water was slower, and by the time it reached him, he pulled down the sand, and emitted as much heat as he could from the palm of his hand, The whole stream gradually evaporated into steam, mixing with the mist, making it all the more dense. He couldn't see in front of him at all...

But. Youji was clearly high in the air on top of one of the dragons. He was on the ground, surrounded by mist and sand. Indirect attack... He focused some of the sand in his palms, shaped them into shuriken, and shot the sand-shuriken at Youji, with perfect aim, this time throwing out about 50 shuriken.
