Yukina was shocked how scary the wild could be! Well, she feared it not, she was just not exactly sure what to expect. She was alert every waking second. She ran in a hopping motion, darting from tree to tree with her almost endless energy. By night fall, though, she was exhausted. She had kept away from the predators, because out here in the wild, she was the hunted. She found a rather large tree with a hole in the hollow and snuck under, and pulled out a small bag of bread and nibbled on it as she rested herself. Soon enough, her eyes fluttered…Fluttered…and then fell into a deep slumber.
She awoke with a start, a loud cracking sound had echoed through the forest. She bobbed her head towards the corner of the entrance and peeked out, so as not to be seen. Nothing went across her supreme vision, so she listened. Creaking about left of her- about a hundred feet? She couldn’t be precise, it was echoing so soft. She rose, and stretched in the shadows, her legs and arms, then her back, and she re-wrapped her medical bandages. With that, she scanned once again, listened, and counted. 1, 2, 3…Zoom~ She sang to herself, and from there, her legs were a blur as she jumped tree to tree. She followed the same pattern the next day.
With all her running, she almost didn’t even see the sand coming- not that she wasn’t looking, but after a second, she realized she couldn’t exactly run on this terrain. “Oh, no.” she squeaked, and felt her leg throbbed. “I did it AGAIN!” she stooped down, it wad bleeding from one of the snags in the forest. It had to have been the forest. She saw that it had been bleeding for some while, mayhap thirty minutes ago and she hadn’t noticed. She didn’t blame herself, she just tightened an extra layer over the wound, for when she reached Suna, mayhap she could fix it. She slowed down, the running made her blood pump. She walked the rest of the way, also getting a slight sunburn. She saw what she was looking for before it appeared. The entrance to Sunagakure.
