Yumi Suzume -Little Sparrow-

In the past, a man named Orochimaru had been kidnapping his fellow Konoha shinobi and used them as human guinea pigs. Gathering living human subjects for experimentation, Orochimaru plucked victims from Chuunin, Jounin and even the ANBU. One such experiment involved Orochimaru infusing the genes of Shodai Hokage into 60 children. Later on 59 of the children soon died... or so it was thought...

The one that is recognized to survive was known as the elite ANBU "Yamato". However, one other experiment did in fact continue on...

The word “survive” is not a term that can be used to describe what happened to me. I can’t recall much. I was taken from my family and old village so long ago. Before the sound village was in existence and before its existence ended. I was one of many, 60 children were tested on by Orochimaru, after he was denied Fourth Hokage position. From what I know all the rest of the subjects died, just not the way I have. After he tried to infuse the Shodai Hokage genes into me I don’t remember much, I blacked-out. I became completely gone. No sign of life in my body. I must of seemed dead to him, pretty much like I am now. If you place your hand to my heart I have no pulse and I only survive on chakra alone. I truly don’t know what occurred after Orochimaru discarded my corpse, all I know is when I awoke I wasn’t quite alive, more or less re-animated in a dark cold field, close to where the Hidden Aurora Village is today.

I awoke in this form, and began to grieve in my own lifeless hands. I felt nothing as left over blood and tears spilled out of my eyes. That was the last time I came close to something the living would refer to as “mourning”. My nerves in my entire body were now deadened. I was no longer the 13 year old girl, who lived care free and happy. I was no longer a girl in fact, I felt more as though a distorted creature, a terrible ramification cause by the twisted experiments of Orochimaru.
