Shino and Hinata's Awakening

Shino Picks himself off the ground slowly, trying to remember just what had happened. Last thing he remembered was sparring with Hinata, and trying out some of the new bug he had breed that had absorbed some of Madara's time space element. His head was still hazy and pulsed in pain. Then it hit him that the forest that he was trining in had changed and what happened to Hinata... He gets up quickly and looks around the area and sees her about 10 feet away. He hurries to you and shakes her gently to see if she will wake up. "Hinata...Hinata wake up.

Hinata groaned slight, and opened her eyes. Her view was hazy and her hands were shaking.
Right before she lost consciousness, her head suddenly hurt and her view was black for a few seconds, before she lost consciousness.

"W-Where are we?" she asked with a small voice. "Where is Konoha?"
She knew Shino didn't have the answer. And she also knew his future answer. He didn't know more than she did.

Slowly, the Hyuuga stood up and leaned on her friend. Her headache as almost gone, but her view was still kinda hazy. Her stomach felt like, it had been turned inside out and she felt like throwing up.
Suddenly, a thought struck her. What about the others who lived in Konoha? Or other ninjas she had met in missions? Were they still home? Was she and Shino the only one who got lost in such a strange way? What was going on?

"S-Shino-kun...What are we going to do?" she asked with a small voice, almost feeling like crying.

Shino scaned the area and nothing looked familiar. "I have no idea where we currently are Hinata but worry not I will find out where we are shortly. "

Shino kneels down, makes the necesary handsigns, and places his hand onto the ground, inwhich a chakra web shaped pattern appears on the ground, and calls the bugs of the area to him and listens to them, they tlk of a village in the area that somewhat fits the description of the area of where Konahagakure was located, but they know of this village named Crater. They tell him the directions on how to reach this village. "There is a village this way that supposedly fits the description of Konaha's location but strangly its name is different." He points north as the route they should take to get to the village. "I think we should proceed slowly and cautiously till we have a better grip on the situation." He then places both hands back into the pockets of his trench coat and faces the direction in which they must now go and starts walking.

Descriptio: Mushi Yose no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Aburame clan of Leaf village. After forming the needed handseals, the clan user will place their hand to a surface and extend a web-like chakra lure to insects in the surrounding area to their location. Running this web over the area will cause any nearby bugs to walk up into it and follow it back to the source.

Kiba and Akumaru had both been laying out cold for some time now, but began to come to slowly. Kiba lifting his head slowly, as he tried to see what was around him; nothing but trees and shrubs, a forest? He began to sniff the air, as the smell that had knocked him out from before was still their, but not as strong as before. He rubbed his nose frantically, in failed hopes of getting rid of the smell, while he looked for Akumaru. "Yo Akumaru, were ya at!?!" Little did Kiba know, they were both hit by the gas, so Akumaru was surely out cold as well. Upon finally noticing his tail inside some bushes, he went over to him, though very woozy and disoriented from not moving for so long.

Once finally reaching Akumaru's position, he knelled down beside him and tapped his face some to wake him, "Oi oi Akumaru, wake up. It's time to get moving." With little no no effects, Akumaru began to come through, opening his eyes to this new world. Kiba just stood back up and looked around the area, holding his head. "Man were are we boy?" Akumaru, was to woozy from his sleep, and decided to stay down for a bit longer, and just sniff the air. He picked up no immediate scents near by that he even remotely recognized, and whimpered up to Kiba. "Ya I know. This place is completely new to me to. But I do feel were not alone in this event. I'm sure someone from the village is here. Just gota find them as all." Feeling a bit more hope, as Kiba had finally got his nose cleared up, he began to sniff around a bit himself to try and pick up anything, "Now lets see..." With a few dozen sniffs in all directions, he could pick up what seemed to be Shino and Hinata's scent mixed together. "Got umm boy. Lets move out. I think I might have found Shino and Hinata near by."

Akumaru barked loudly, as he stood to his feet finally, shaking himself down a bit, as Kiba took off through the trees, Akumaru followed close behind. "Hmm I wonder how they all got their, but maybe Shino knows some answers. Cuz I'm completely stumped." Soon Kiba was up into the trees, with Akumaru jumping right under him, and Kiba grabbed on, as they rode to the closet points were the scents were just at.

Hinata gave Shino a firm nod and followed him.

She lowered her head and began to think.
Why did they get here? And how? This was just weird. They were training as usual and suddenly, this headache, the blackout and they ended up in this place, which apparently was close enough to their home to get back on feet, but it was different enough to make them completely lost and to need the bugs to get home. It didn't make sense, especially not if they were in familiar territory.
Wait. What if they weren't? Shino mentionned that the village had the same location as Konoha, but not the same name. What happened while she had lost consciousness? Did an enemy cast a genjutsu on the place, conquer Konoha and rename it? Impossible. Conquering Konoha in a short timespan was impossible. It was technically humanly not possible, not even for a ninja. If Pein had managed to beat Naruto and the other ninjas, nothing would have been left anyway of the village hidden in the leafs.
But, the location was correct and that was a problem, because that would mean that Konoha was still there, but not anymore.
...
Argh.
Hinata bit her lip, thoughtfully. All this didn't make any sense. Konoha was there without being there. It just had a different name?

Hinata closed her eyes and opened them again. Her brain felt like it was going to explode. She even activated her Byakugan to see if there was indeed no genjutsu. And there was none.
She caught a glimpse of a road and made sign to Shino to follow it, while staying hidden in the forest. They didn't need to attract any attention. Who knew if there wasn't any danger hiding behind this calm place? Even if it was their place, something was fishy and they had to be very careful.
'I don't like this...Where are all the others? And where are Kiba and Akamaru?' she thought, worried.

Shino watched as Hinata Recovered and got back to her feet. Her Byakugan did not give hem any news on their location or situation which troubled Shino even more. They had found a path but outside that nothin else. "I dont know where the others are and especially Kiba and Akamaru. I suggest we start heading in the direction of this village and even if it is not Konoha maybe we can at least get answers to were we are and get some supplies. I am going to send out some bugs to scout the area for danger or missin allies."

Shino raises his hands in the air and half of his desruction bugs swarm into the air. He tells them to scout out the area in a circular pattern stemming from them as the radius. They are to search for dangers and/or allies and report back on their findings. The bugs spread out on their scouting mission in all directions.

"I think it is ok for us to procede now to this village. Hopefully the bugs will come back with more intel on exactly where we are and find us some help." Shino starts to walk towards the path to this unknown village.

Kiba and Akumaru covered a great distance, in little time, but it seems their intended targets were on the move as they reached their last location. Dropping down from the trees above, Kiba jumped off of Akumaru's back, and sniffed out the are, as Akumaru did the same. "Damn it!! Missed them" kicking at the dirt beneath him, as he could tell they had just moved out not long ago, but missed them only minutes later. He felt the ground, and it felt slightly warmer then usual, indicating there bodies there at one point, and the fact that there are still traces of foot prints in the area. Akumaru whimpered lightly at how they had just missed them. "Well they were defiantly here. But their trail is leading further off though? Maybe they found something out? Gota catch up, and fast this time."

Kiba stood back to his feet, as Akumaru ran on ahead, indicating he had their scent. Kiba had paused for a moment before going, noticing that a few dozen bug were still around the area. "Guess Shino is really here? Hope he found out some good news from these guys." He grinned excitedly, at the fact that he could see his team again and that good news was propionate, so he hoped. He soon was running after Akumaru, who had a lock on Hinata and Shino's scent. Not sure of were they were going, but their latest scents lead near to a road? Kiba decided to stay on the outer rim of it, to avoid being seen by unwanted company.

Hinata stopped walking suddenly. She had glimpsed something behind her with her Byakugan. She had given Shino a slight tap on his arm and a head sign to hide. She hadn't been able to see if it was someone they knew, but she didn't want to risk more than they already did.

Quickly, she jumped in a tree, her heart beating a little faster.
They had no idea who they would encounter. No idea what they would have to fight or face. No idea where they really were.
Hinata wasn't scared. Well, not like when Naruto's life was in stake. She was calm and composed, ready to strike when needed. But her heart was still beating hard in her chest and her hands were shaking slightly.
'W-What's going on?' she thought. 'I-I didn't have this reaction anymore since last chuunin exams...'
She looked up to her partner, asking herself how he felt...And if he had a plan, because her stressed brain was incapable of coming with one.
Where was Kiba when we needed him in the team?

Shino notices Hinata warning and moves with her into the trees, to stay out of site. He also notices her uneasyness. "Be calm Hinata. You hve trained hard since then and a very capable konichi now."

Just then a few of Shinos destruction bugs returned and told him that Kiba and Akamaru were following them and pointed that they were behind the path. "Looks like we were not the only pulled to this weird place Hinata. It appears that we do have allies. Kiba and Akumaru are a short distance behind us. We should wait here till they catch up." He showed no signs of fear, and remained calm especially to try to help Hinata. He just stayed there stoicly watching down the path for any sign of Kiba. Knowing him he never did anything quietly and carefully, and will probably come barraling down on them.

Figuring they were walking instead of moving quickly? It struck him as odd as to why? "Could they have been captured? No way, not with Shino around, and Hinata's Byakugan. Maybe their taking it slow? Maybe they already know were coming? Damn it! Why isn't any of this making any sense now? and now I'm talking to myself..." Smacking his own face in frustration of over-thinking something, and still not even figuring it all out. He knew they were gaining on the 2 at this rate, but for some reason something ahead didn't feel right.

Before Kbia knew it, Akumaru was coming to a stop ahead, and back on the trail. To which Kiba payed no mind to as he followed oddly enough, ran right into Akumaru, and flipped over him. Sliding into the dirt, tumbling and rolling about as Akumaru looked at him as to what happened. Finally coming to a stop in a plume of dirt, Kiba laid face first in the ground, lifting his head slowly to look at Akumaru. "You mind explaining to me why WE STOPPED AGAIN!?" As Kiba roared at him in a comical fashion, making himself seem bigger then Akumaru, who just stared on happily, oblivious almost to Kiba's own carelessness to pay attention, but did let him know that their Shino and Hinata's scents had stopped there. "Say what now?!?! You mean there just gone? Or their simply here and hiding?" Of course the obvious vanishing traces of their scent went right over his head, he soon picked him self up of the ground. "They gota be here somewhere then." Sniffing around for them, cluelessly, though Akumaru did kinda point them out, but he decided to let Kiba continue looking anyway.

Hinata blinked.
It was only Kiba? Really... All this stress of the unknown really dulled her senses.
She jumped down the tree and smiled happily.
"Kiba-kun! You're okay." she said, relieved. "Do you know where we are?"
The chuunin tugged at her sleeves and awaited for Kiba's answer.

Shino jumped down to right after Hinata. He landed right behind Kiba. "Looks like everyone of our squad is here and accounted for." is all he says. He awaited for Kibas answer to Hinata's question since he saw no point in repeating what had already been said. He wasnt surprised at Akumaru finding their hiding place but even less surprised at Kibas lack of focus to not have smelled them out instantly.

Kiba blinked several times at the sheer lack of not noticing that everyone was in one location, "Ya ya, I'm ok..." Akumaru just whimpered in disgrace as Kiba still hadn't even noticed that fact yet. He shook his fist in comical rage as he glared at Akumaru, whom put his head down in shame, and of fear of actually being in trouble for something he didn't do. Kiba reverted as Hinata had spoken, as well as Shino. He looked at both with a sly grin, rubbing under his nose cockily. "I have not a clue were!!" with a nervous laugh that followed. He soon spoke in a more serious tone. "Everything around here is completely new. I did hear a few villagers around, maybe a small village? Otherwise I got nothing.. How bout you guys?" Of course he knew their answers were probably the same, everything about this place just felt new to him? He doughted that they picked up on anything he hadn't already done.

"W-We only know that there is a village some further away from here. A-Apparently, it's on the same location as Konoha...But, it's like impossible, since nothing is the same as when we left. E-Even thought I remember this road. T-There was a a similar one back the-"

She stopped talking. SOmething struck her and her eyes widened in fear.
Was it possible? That they weren't in their time period anymore? She knew that some ninjas had used and experimented with time and space jutsus. But was it real? Who would want them to send them back in the time? What was going on? And neither Kiba or Akamaru had sent something familiar in the air. Not even their own sent from their special marking jutsu. And after hearing a lot of rambling from Kiba about it, she knew that some little rain, or even a snow storm could take that scent away. Only time could eleminate it.
So, there were two solutions. Or they went back in the time...Or they went to the future.
"I-I need to check something."

And she began to run, in the direction of the village.
'P-Please let this all be a nightmare and that I wake up soon.'

Hinata stated to kiba what the two have been able to uncover so far. He looked over the road and realized that Hinatas assessment was correct, this was a path that led into the village. He hadnt recognized it now, the growth and vegitation was different but he remembered his many times going down this path to scout for new bugs in the forests around Konoha.

It was at this time Hinata bolts off down the path saying that she needed to check something. Without saying a word Shino chases after Hinata to see what she was trying to figure out, and to make sure she didnt get into any trouble. Further and further down the path they ran and Shino made sure to recall all his bugs back, he was going to need them all if trouble was to come and since they have not reported any news it seemed like the cost was clear.

Sighing at the poor results they all had gotten thus far, and their the best at tracking and picking up info from surrounding areas, without fault. But today wasn't their best of days it seemed. Kiba had glanced around, resting his hands on his hips, as he looked at the surrounding area, it did fell slightly nostalgic, but what could it be? Before he could really place it, Hinata had taken off with a few words "I-I need to check something." He perked a brow at the thought and wondered what could be up. Shino was to after her, so he followed suit, Akumaru right on his heels. "Oi oi What's the big rush for?" He continued to watch the and sniff about the area in hopes of figuring out what they both could be thinking, but he was stumped as to what it could be? They weren't being followed, so what was it? He thought.
