Elements and Jutsu Limits

Jutsu Starting Limit:

Kages: 55 jutsu
Jounin: 35 jutsu
Chunnin: 25 jutsu
Genin: 15 jutsu
Academy Students: unlimited E-Rank jutsu and 5 D-rank


Elements

These are the 5 Base Elements. In all things of creation, these Elements are the most common:

-Wind
-Earth
-Fire
-Lightning
-Water

Advanced Elements

Boil = Water & Fire
Ice = Water & Wind
Dust = Earth, Fire & Wind
Wood = Earth & Water
Storm = Water & Lightning
Lava = Earth & Fire
Explosion = Earth & Lightning
Scorch = Wind & Fire
Blaze = Mangekyou Sharingan
Sand = Wind & Earth
Magma = Fire & Earth
Magnetism = Lightning & Earth

Crystal, Light, Swift, Steel and Darkness elements can only used by those born with a natural affinity for them.


Limits on Elements
S-Rank, Kages and Sages - Up to 5 elements
A - Rank, Jounin and Anbu - Up to 3 elements
B- Rank, Chuunin - Up to 2 elements
C-Rank, D-Rank, Genin - Only 1 element
E-Rank, Academy Student - No regular element or advanced element

New Jutsu/Element Rules
As Many sites do DoS is now implanting a system that requires you to Earn new Elements and Jutsu. Ninja must RP out there learning new skills, you can't just add a bunch of new skills randomly, not even when you gain a new rank. Because think about it...just because you gain a new rank doesn't mean you just skipped two years of your life. So the fallowing to charts will show you how many words you need in order to learn a new jutsu/element at each rank. If there is a "--" in a section it means that rank can't learn a jutsu of that skill level. If along with the words you see something like "3x" or "2x" that means you must complete the required word count that many times before you can use that element in battle.

If Training with another ninja who already knows this jutsu your word count can be minimized done by 200 words. (The word count is you alone, it does not count your teacher's word count as well)

When you start your character you can start with how ever many elements your rank gives you, but after you make your character you have to learn all elements. If Training with another ninja who already knows this element your word count can be minimized done by 100 words(each time). After learning a new element you must still learn new jutsu for it. We will allow you to add ONE C-rank or below jutsu of that element along with the new element to your profile.

New Rule about Advanced Elements;

I'm sorry to inform you all, but from this point on people can not just train advanced elements. There are four ways to learn an Advanced Element. All ways except for winning it in an event you must have the basic elements needed for them.

• Buy the element in the market place(Must do two training posts each with 250 words in it regardless of how many advanced elements you already have)
  
• Learn the element from someone who already knows it(Must train element in RP going by the training post rules above)
  
• Get the element from a clan/special ability(Depending on your rank, by gaining it this way you can auto-gain at sign up or train it in forum on your own)
  
• Win it in an event(Auto-gain no training necessary)
