Information on Kyokukogakure

Landscape

Kyokukogakure is located within the Land of Snow; a country far to the north. It is usually snow-covered throughout most of the year, but due to a series of events and technological breakthroughs by Kyokuko Shinobi, a generator that allows the climate to become spring-like was invented. This is so the people may enjoy the many tidings of warm weather and spring for a certain time of the year. When the generator is not active, the land remains a barren glacial wasteland; dangerous for the inexperience shinobi or traveler.

Technology

The Land of Snow possesses an unusually advanced level of technology when compared to other countries. Things such as railroads, airships, power generators, and volley guns are commonplace here, though the latter fired salvos of kunai instead of bullets. Additionally, their ninja wear special chakra armor that makes them virtually immune to ninjutsu and genjutsu.
