Bring It Back! [P; Raina and Jonas]

Two long years. Two long years since Jonas has gotten to spend an entire day in the Hidden Aurora Village. He smiled under his mask. He had changed alot over the years. He had grown at least six inches taller, and his hair had grown long. Due to that, he usually kept it in a pony tail. He sported an Aurora village chuunin jacket, and he still worn armored gloves and baggy pants. He looked alot more..aloof. His yellow eyes seemed to be always focused on something, which would often lead people to think he was off task. He doesn't know what it is, because he seems to notice it as well. He didn't care though. He knew he was alot more wiser and focused, so it didn't matter.

It was the afternoon. Snow fell from the sky, bathing the village in snow. He placed his hands in his pockets, and took a step into the village, walking past the guards. He nodded to them, and they nodded back, recognized who the boy was. Jonas advanced through the village, looking around. It looked the same. Nothing really changed actually. He stopped at a power pole, and molded chakra to his feet. He charged up the pole and stood up, keeping his balance as he scanned the whole village. He felt slight murderous intent around him, but he shrugged it off. "Whatever.." He said, thinking aloud.

Raina exited the weapon store with a long blade attached to her back. She bowed to the man inside and smiled. "Thank you very much sir for repairing it!" He welcomed her and waved her bye. The white haired girl looked down the street, the snow had been cleared so walking wasn't so bad.

As she started walking down the street something felt different, something was off. She looked up at the sky. Nothing seemed wrong. "Maybe it was my imagination. Hehe." She kept walking. The females long white hair cascaded around her white kimono top. Her Aurora headband hung around her waist like a belt. She looked more mature but she was still the same inside.

"Oooh man! Its so dull here.. Sometime I wish.. The chunin frowned. She didn't know when'd he return, her best friend. The girl kept walking and passed by a pole. She noticed the pole's shadow was altered. She looked up, shielding her eyes from the sun. "Who is that..?"

Jonas stood atop of the pole. The murderous intent disappeared. He smiled at this, and crouched down, the snow falling on him. Luckily, his mask kept his face warm. He gripped the pony tail his hair was in, and then debated taking it out. "Nah.." He said, and then jumped down from the pole. Landing in front of the girl, he looked at her for a while. She looked familiar. She looks like Raina-chan..but Raina-chan..has smaller boobs.. Jonas mentally noted, and walked past the girl.

Something about Jonas was different. Not only was he was alot wiser and stronger, he looked it too. He kept his hands in his pocket, and casually strolled through the snow, paying no attention to the girl.

Raina blinked and stood dumbfounded. S-Silver hair.. gold eyes.. a strong aura about his person.. Could it be? The girl hurried after the male and tapped him on the shoulder, "Uh..Excure m-me.." She stared at the ground with her bright red eyes. "Y-you look like a friend of mine.. I just wanted to see.. " She kicked at the snow and continued staring down, peeking through her bangs at his face.

Jonas stopped, hearing foot steps approaching from behind him. He turned around before arching an eyebrow, his golden eyes staring the girl down. He stared at her, she looked so familiar. Too familiar.

"Raina-chan?" He asked. He wasn't sure if it was her. If it wasn't, then, this was going to be very weird. If so, then he'd be so happy to see his friend.

A smile crossed her face, her eyes lit up. "Jonas-kun! It is you!" She leapt up and caught him into a tight hug. "Oh wow! I thought you'd never come back! We've missed you soo much!"

Jonas was hugged by his childhood friend, and smiled under the mask. He brought his arms around her small body, probably almost crushing her. He brought one hand up and moved his bangs out of his face, and he let go of Raina. "You've seen me..at the exams. Sorry I didn't say anything, Gramps said I had to keep it moving if I wanted to finish my training." He muttered, and brought his hand up to the back of his head, rubbing it sheepishly.

She took a step back and looked him up and down. "Oh wow. You've changed so mu-" She stared up at his head, eyeing the height difference. He's gotten.. so much taller.. Q~Q "You've gotten taller, but your hair is super pretty!" The snow haired girl smiled and reached up to ruffle his hair.

She rubbed her eyes, tears had started welling up from the reunion. When she was separated from friends in the past, she never saw them again. Her face turned pink, complementing her face tattoos. "I'm glad you're safe. I bet you're a whole lot stronger now eh?"

Jonas smiled at Raina. He brought his hand up to his hair, and picked at the pony tail. "Yeah, I think I should cut it." He said, pondering if he should or not. He shrugged it off, and chuckled, noticing that Raina was still shorter than him. It wasn't such a difference two years ago, but whatever. He brought his hand up, open palm, and then smirked, the mask curving around his lips. Suddenly, green energy began to swirl into his palm from seemingly out of nowhere. "Yeah..I've gotten pretty stronger? Haven't you?"

Raina shook her head. "You shouldn't cut it." She looked down at his palm and blinked. "That's cool! And I have been training with a special teacher.. I've been learning how to fight with a sword.." She pointed to the blade on her back. "I've also been learning medical jutsu."

Jonas closed his palm, causing his aura to disperse. His golden eyes scanned the village once more. He still had that uneasy feeling. He shrugged it off, and he begun to walk away. He turned to Raina, and nodded to her, hopefully telling her that she should tag along. "So, I see those two years have been kind to you, huh?" He said, looking over how much Raina had changed.

He started walking off, Raina followed closely beside. It was like when they were genin. But now she felt like an equal more than a sidekick. She nodded, touching her fingers to her tattoos. "Yeah. The training isn't bad. I've learned alot about my past.. and I keep growing weird marks on my face and arms." She stared at the ground as they walked. "So how's it been for you? The training away from home?"

Jonas nodded. "I see..Maybe they somehow connect to your past." He said, referring to the marks. When asked about the training, he only groaned in frustration. Training with all-mighty, all-knowing perverted old man was treacherous. He learned alot though, I mean honestly, but it was annoying. Some days, he would go through some hard core training, others he would stand that, waiting for his old man to finish reading porn. He slapped the side of his head, trying to remove the thought from his mind. To no avail. He looked at Raina. "I missed alot of people, including you of course."

He smiled under his mask, and brought a hand up to his spiked hair once more. A soft wind blew by, caressing his face and causing his Aurora Chunin Flak jacket to bounce in the wind. "Yeah," He said, running out of things to say.

Raina smiled and blushed bright pink. She rubbed the back of her head as the silence grew. Wow. Not even ten minutes after that long apart... The conversation was great. She mumbled and smiled awkwardly. "So uh.. Yeah.. "

Jonas clapped his hand together and nodded. "How about..we..go get some ramen! Just like the old days!" Jonas smiled, and pointed down the road. He didn't remember where the ramen shop was, so he hoped Raina would lead the way.

She smiled smugly. "You forgot didn't you.. Hehe Follow me Jonas-kun!" The red eyed girl turned to opposite way and started walking down the path. "I'll treat. Think of it as my way of welcoming you to the village." She looked back at him over her shoulder grinning.

He smiled. Yeah, he forgot. He hasn't been there in two years, what did she expect from him? He chuckled when Raina said she going to pay. He didn't have any money anyway. He kept his hands pocketed, and looked around the village. He didn't know what that feeling was, but it was evil. He didn't know why he kept feeling this. He tried to shrug it off, but it didn't work. "..."

Raina led the way down the path. She felt something strange. She rested her left hand on the right side of her neck, the origin of the tattoos. They walked in silence for awhile, Raina was listening to their feet crunching in the snow as they made their way to the Ramen shop. She looked over she shoulder every now and them, checking Jonas and behind them.

Jonas smiled, and followed his friend. Suddenly, there was a massive explosion. Jonas shielded his eyes, and the screams of people filled the air. Jonas' eyes widened. He just entered the village and it was under attack already. Well, that's what he assumed. He looked down the block, and saw several houses on fire. "Raina..stay here." He commanded, and charged down the block, going to check on the situation.

Raina thought she heard Jonas say something and she turned around, but he was gone. She stared sadly at his footprints then shook the negativity away. "He's probably bus.." When she noticed the smoke across the village. "Oh.. He left to go to that.. That's why he said stay here.. Alright."

The white haired girl looked around, then walked to the side of the ramen house. She decided she would wait for him here. She exhaled, her breath visible. Channeling her chakra into her hand she created heat to keep her warm.

"Hmm. I wonder if it'll get warmer this year for summer.."
