Aya Hanami

Since childhood, Aya has been trained by her father to fight strongly and by her mother, to maintain a lady-like body. No wonder how she turned out to be herself right now. She was forced to punch sand bags, run five miles a day and train with shurikens by throwing them at trees by her father. While her mother, taught her how to drink tea in front of men and elders, how to dress up, how to draw and embroider. How Aya maintained her small and slim body has always been a mystery to everyone in the village.

The first five years of her life passed by unconsciously. She could not remember them anymore.

When she reached the age of 6, she started to get more interested in both ninjas and art. She tried her best to do what both of her parents told her to do. The same goes on for two years.

One starry night, under the shining moon, she and her father sat on the roof of the house. They were just chit-chatting about how last night went. Suddenly, her father sighed and said “You are going to be a great ninja, Aya. Your mother and I expect a lot from you. Don’t disappoint me.” And she smiled with all her heart and nodded saying “Hai, father.” The night ended with her father putting her down on her bed slowly as she slept innocently.

There was an epidemic at the village and it has already been there for a while. Most of the elders had passed away when Aya found out that her parents had caught it too. She tried her best to cure them by getting help from every medical ninja in the village but everyone failed to do so. It was her first day at the academy when she found out that her parents had passed away.
It damaged her. Ruined her will. Everything that she ever had is gone now. She had nothing left. No hope. Nothing.

She almost gave up about becoming the greatest ninja when she found out about her parents’ will. Her father wrote “Don’t forget what I said, Aya. And we’re always beside you.”
She spent the night thinking about her parents. Her father and his harsh words. Her mother with her sweetest smile. She cried endlessly that night. And after she wiped her tears away, she decided to start her life anew.

She aced out through her academy years and graduated earlier than most of her friends. Her life at the academy was event-less. The only thing new to her was her friends and she loved them.

As a genin, she worked very hard. Her enthusiasms led her to be one of the best genin in the village. She trained for years at the academy and when she was confident, she took the Chuunin exam. Albeit all the hardships, she graduated.

And now, she sets down her pathway, as a new chuunin of Shoutokugakure, not knowing what awaits her...

Name: Dragonfly Technique

Description: Provided the user has a chakra affinity for water, this technique casts a weak yet effective illusion upon the victim. Upon spilling chakra-enhanced water on the victim's eyes, the vision of the victim turns incredibly distorted; to a point that all in his/her eyesight appears to be jittering and shaking, just like a dragonfly would. This lasts for as long as the victim's eyes remain wet / damp.

Name: Minor Spraystorm Technique

A simple water-based technique; the user concentrates a small amount of water in his/her hands, and swirls his/her hands around the body of chakra while pouring a steady flow of chakra into it. This process continue until a large, rough sphere of water is formed in the user's palms. Blowing into this 'ball' causes a large number of bubble-like projectiles to fly at the selected victim, albeit slowly. Although it is rather easy to dodge and time-consuming, contact with the bubbles causes temporary numbness at the point of contact. An external source of water must be used to perform this technique due to it's inadequate rank.

Name: Major Spraystorm Technique

Merely an upgrade of the original 'Minor Spraystorm Technique'; this technique follows the same pattern of gathering water and swirling it to form a sphere. However, in this case, when the ball is formed, the user throws the ball itself at the selected victim. This is much faster than the spray of bubbles from it's parent technique; and much more effective. The orb may even be used to add to the effeciency of taijutsu. Contact with the sphere causes a long-lasting numbness at the point of contact. Once again, an external source of water is required to perform this technique.

Name: Water Mimicry Technique

This technique requires mastery of the water-walking skill of ninjas. Standing on water, and after performing the required hand-seals, the technique allows the user's reflection on the water to burst out of the water, just like a clone of the user made of water. However, unlike a water clone, this mimic of the user does not fade away into water at touch. It remains intact; contact with it would only pass through it, as if the user were using the Hydration Technique. This mimic can use any technique the user can, with much less power of course. It remains in battle for as long as the user can keep the technique in his/her control. [For genin, 3 posts]

A simple technique developed by Aya herself; this technique allows her to charge her chakra to shift into pure water. This water isn't fit for drinking; it is fit for performing certain techniques. It can also be used to wash surfaces. Pretty much anything you do with normal water, except drink it.

Name: Summoning: Minor Rainfall

After performing the selected hand-seals, provided there is enough humidity in the area, the user can convert the water droplets in the air to raindrops, and cause an extremely mild rainfall. The water from this rain can be counted as an external source of water, and can be used to perform water-based techniques. The downpour is very weak, and barely lasts for a minutes. [2-4 posts]

Name: Threaded Snake Technique

This technique allows the user to virtually create a whip out of water. A thick construction of water; this technique requires no hand-seals. The user can draw a whip out of the water after placing his/her palms upon a sufficient water supply. The whip is moderately thick, and almost two meters long. The whip lasts for as long as the user is able to hold the water chakra in that compressed state. [3 posts]

Description: Water Whip is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja will create a whip of water which can strike and bind an opponent. The ninja can also use a jutsu like Jibashiri to send an electric current through the whip to stun their opponent.

Description: This is a basic technique that promotes the user's ability to spawn the Water Element. With a single hand-seal, the user may form a puddle of water that grows outwards from the user's feet. This puddle can grow to become larger and larger, with a maximum limit of 10 meters radius. THe rate of growth is ten centimeters per minute.

Name: Water Prison Technique (Nerfed)

Description: The original Water Prison Technique is a Ninjutsu technique that utilized the Water Element to imprison the foe in a dome of water. But when Aya does it, she doesn't completely fulfill the strength of the orb. With sufficient force, it is possible to get in or out of the Water Prison performed by her. The other specifics are the exact same as the Water Prison Technique performed by Zabuza Momoichi.

Name: Polar bear Assault

Description: This technique was developed by Aya herself as a result of her inexorable amor for polar bears. After performing a string of unique hand seals, an aurora of five to ten polar bears rises out of a nearby body of water. The number of bears will correspondingly reduce the water level. The bears are merely pawns for Aya; she can make them do whatever she pleases. Maul the foe, chase the foe, scare the foe, etc. The technique requires a mass of chakra to be performed, but no chakra is required to control the bears. Upon practicing this jutsu, Aya has made friends with polar bears and eventually named some[7] of them: Grumpy, Shishi, Hoi, Venno, Kushi, Tsuka, and Chaki.

Description: This Ninjutsu Technique was created for the sole reason that Aya doesn't like violence. The technique manipulates water into the shape and color of a kunai or shuriken, and the user lets it fly towards the intended target. However, it is, in essence, water, and so upon contact the projectile splashes into water. The worst this technique could do is wetten the foe.

Description: This technique utilizes the Water Element. The ninja first does a string of hand seals, which causes a column of water to rise from a nearby water source. This jutsu was the preferred method of fighting a nearby fire by Chuunin.
