| The last thing Raina saw was Jonas's pained eyes before she fell back through the portal, landing on.. sand?! Raina blinked and sat up, rubbing her head. "Wha..What happened? I teleported..? Jonas?"
She stood to her feet, dusting off the sand, looking around the lake and surrounding forest. He wasn't there. He was in a separate portal! Noo! Where did he go?! Its not fair, she just got him back!! Running up the bank of the lake she ran into the forest, running around the lake Tears stung her eyes as she shouted for her friend.
After an hour she quieted down. Her throat was burning from sobbing and yelling. The knight medic slumped to her knees and cried silently, cursing whatever darkness took her friend, like it took her brother..
