Jun stood in one of the training fields, left hand clasped in a handseal, sweat dripping down his face. A solid wall of wind revolved in the air infront of him, a barrier which spun quickly to keep it's shape. Slowly, he raised his right hand in a mirroring seal, constructing a second wall, connecting it to the first like the lid on a cube. A gust of natural wind blew -the walls of the jutsu wavered, but held.
Jun held this stance for a further ten seconds - everything was stable. Slowly, he inverted the handsigns; two more walls slowly formed, spinning wildly, faster and faster as Jun fought to connect them to the original two, and complete the Wind Cage Technique. The seams touched, and the motions interrupted one another - the walls collided and became a small whirlwind before disapating as Jun hit the ground, exhausted.
"Damn it!" Hands shaking, Jun slowly pushed himself to sit up, staring at the patch of earth he'd been attempting to cage with his jutsu for the past several hours. He had made progress, but there was only so much he could do without a teacher.
