Kumogakure; Search For Kiba [Open]

The two Uchihas have been walking for about three days, with, of course, the occasional breaks in between. Daisuke walked with his hands at his side, his Nuibari bouncing and slamming against his back with each step he took. He brought his hand up, moving his overgrown bangs from his eyes before turning to his brother, looking down at him in concern. "Are you okay? Do you want to take a break?" He asked, his face contorting into a look of geniune concern. Ever since his family was killed by his eldest brother, he always wanted to look out for what was left, which was his younger brother and sister. He brought his hand up and placed on his brother's head, ruffling his teal colored hair. He grinned, "We're almost there.." he said, reassuring his younger brother that this long journey wouldn't be in vain.

He pulled his arm away, and began to pick up the pace, going from a slow walk into another full-blown sprint. As he dashed, he watched the scenery change, and he felt it get warmer. It was cold in Aurora, colder than it is Kumo. Kumo's cold, but Daisuke, during his stay in Aurora got use to the temperature, so, he didn't really care much. He came to a violent halt, and looked around, taking in what he saw. Kumogakure was in shams and ruins, destroyed buildings, random dead bodies. Daisuke simply looked around, then turned to his brother, hoping that his younger sibling wouldn't be startled by the sight. "Yeah, let's start looking.." Daisuke muttered, activating his sharingan.

Takai would be traveling slightly behind his older brother, but would not be showing much sign of fatigue. It had been quite a long trip, but in his mind he knew that it would be more than worth it in the end. Kumogakure was their target, and they were attempting to see if there would be any sort of treasure, notably a sword with immense powers. The one thing Takai was worried about would be regarding the swords, but not if someone else was also looking for a similar thing, or it had been found already. Takai was faithful to his brother, and knew that he would be more than capable of dealing with anyone they might encounter. What was worrying Takai was that the swords would not end up in his possession. His brother loved swords, more so than Takai did, and the chance of him simply keeping it was of course present. Even if that would happen, Takai would just have to prove to his brother that he was more than worthy of wielding it, no matter how powerful. It would only be a matter of time, though hopefully not another three days.

When Daisuke showed concern in Takai, all he did was smile, and say, "It's okay, big brother. I'm fine," and would just keep walking. After Daisuke moved his arm away from Takai's head, he would begin to sprint, and Takai would grin. Following after his brother, he would do his best to keep up, and luckily was able to do so to an extent. After a minute or so, Yamazaru, Takai's pet Spider Monkey, would come out of Takai's jacket, probably because he wanted to stretch his limbs before they arrived. Crawling up to Takai's head while in mid-run, he would simply jump off and begin climbing the trees, mainly swinging from branch to branch.

When Kumogakure would come into sight, Yamazaru would launch himself back onto Takai's shoulder, and into his Jacket. It was a little warmer here, though not by a lot. Daisuke would tell Takai it was time to begin, and would then activate his Sharingan. Takai, unable to activate it at the time, would simply begin to go around, looking around. His brother would do a majority of the searching, and Takai was just there... to be there.

Daisuke simply stood there, searching the area with his sharingan. He didn't exactly know what the hell he was looking for, but for some odd reason, he had a feeling his sharingan would work. He looked at his brother, who was emanating a large amount of chakra before searching the area in front of him. Nothing. He deactivated his sharingan, and decided he needed a large vantage point. Pumping chakra to the soles of his feet, he dashed forward, and scaled up the remains of the nearest building. He balanced himself on the top, trying to prevent it from collapsing. He closed one eye and opened the other one wider, activating his sharingan. He scanned the area once more, and saw another source of chakra His sharingan deactivated and looked down at his brother.

"Takai." He said, looking down his brother. Daisuke had spotted the sword, but he wasn't sure if he wanted his brother to have it. It went back to the whole other swordsman theory. They may be other swordsman looking for the blade, and if his brother has it, it may put him at risk. What if the shinobi was way stronger than Takai, and Daisuke wasn't around to help. Rather, what if he wasn't able to help? He sighed. "I don't know where the sword is.." He lied, narrowing his eyes toward the sky.

While Daisuke would scan the area with his Sharingan, Takai would simply go around and hope he could be of assistance. Daisuke would be doing most of the actual searching, being the fact that he has a Three Tomoe Sharingan. His vision would be very strong, and the Sharingan would generally be able to see certain things. If it gave off a type of energy that the Sharingan would be able to see, notably any form of chakra, it would be very visible to his big brother. Aside from that, he would simply have to look, and hope that something was spotted. Takai kept going, searching under rubble and debris, in an attempt to be of SOME sort of help. OVerall, they would jsut have to hope that their luck was high, and that the sword had chosen them worthy to be able to be wield by them.

When Takai heard his name from his big brother, he looked over and saw that he was standing on top of a building. He ran over a little, and without knowing it was getting even closer to the hidden blades. Daisuke said that he didn't know where the sword was, and Takai felt it was pretty odd he had said such a thing. "We'll just have to keep looking then, right?" With confidence, he would keep looking, hoping that Daisuke did the same. Little by little he would be getting closer to the Kiba Blades. Within two minutes he would stumble upon them, unless something stopped him. The thing was that Daisuke would not be able to stop him by words, and force would almost definitely need to be involved if Takai was to go back sword less. He was determined, that was for sure.

Daisuke watched his brother, knitting his eyebrows. Should he let him attain the Kiba blades? He didn't want his brother to be at risk. He clenched his fist and sighed, not really showing any emotion, attempting to keep up his facade in front of his brother. He looked at Takai, who was searching through the rubble, and withdrew his Nuibari. He stood up straight, and activated his sharingan. "Brother." He said, then in a flash, he was gone. He landed in front of his brother stopping him in his trail. He stared at his brother, his crimson eyes blazing as he steadily gripped the hilt of his sword. An ominous wind swept through the area, carrying the scent of charred corpses to Daisuke's noise, much to his dismay, and swept through his person, causing his hair and clothes to sway.

He kept a serious expression the whole time, and he spoke with authority, as if talking to some sort of servant or subordinate. "I've realized something." He stated bluntly, staring into his brother's eyes, his bangs falling only so slightly over his crimson eyes, giving his appearance a sense of mystery. "As your older brother, I can't just let you have the sword. You have to fight for it. Its for your honor, as a member of the Uchiha Clan." Daisuke said, and without warning, brought his blade up and then brought it down for a strong vertical slash.

Takai would keep looking, but it was to no avail as of yet. After looking under some rubble, he would stretch his back and take a look around the place. In front of him a few yards, there was something glimmering in the little light that was presence. 'Is... is that what I was looking for?' he thought to himself, ready to go and check it out. Just as he was about to tell Daisuke that he had found something, he would hear Daisuke say 'Brother', and then instantly appear in front of him. Takai was puzzled as to why he would do that, had he seen the swords as well, and wanted to pick them up first? No, that was not it, as Daisuke was looking at the swords, but at Takai instead. Looking up, he would see that his big brother had a serious face, and his Nuibari. Overall Takai did not know what the hell Daisuke was doing, but within a few seconds would find our for himself.

Takai would listen to what his older brother had to say, and was ultimately dumbfounded. Apparently he had known the location of the sword the entire time, and had lied to Takai. 'Why would he do such a thing?' Takai thought to himself, an instant before he saw Daisuke bring up his sword for a slash. Knowing he would not have the proper time to dodge the attack, Takai would simply whisper "Defend," as a small monkey would emerge from Takai's shoulder with a kunai in hand. The monkey, named Yamazaru, was Takai's pet spider monkey. He was decently skilled in Kenjutsu, though only had a kunai to work with for the time being. With his brother's sword blocked, Takai would go on to draw forth his chokuto from his back, and regretfully send a horizontal slash towards his brother's left side. 'Maybe if I can just get a little distance between us, I can make a grab for the sword...', and that was the only thing he really could do for the time being. He couldn't actually beat Daisuke, he was much too skilled.

Daisuke smirked at his brother, and held his slash, allowing his brother draw Chokuto. He would flick his wrist forward, pushing away from the kunai-wielding monkey. He easily predicted his brother's next move. Daisuke brought his hand to the side, parrying the slash and pushing it back in an attempt to knock his brother off balance. The Uchiha would take a step back and charge forward, unleashing a violent torrent of slashes, each deliberately slow enough to allow his brother to be able to block. He pulled back from the slashes momentarily and stared his brother. He wanted the Kiba blades, that being said, he might attempt to break through or go past Daisuke to attain them. He took a step back, and turned his head slightly, looking at where the blade was but keeping his brother in view.

He held Nuibari tightly and then turned back to his brother, watching him and the monkey carefully. "Come." He muttered

As Takai made the attack, his brother would easily block it. Pushed off, Takai would partially lose his balance, and it took him a second to regain his footing. With his balance partially lost, Daisuke would take a sept back, before charging at Takai. Sending a multitude of attacks Takai's way, Takai was forced to dodge the first two, before he was able to maneuver his chokuto to block the remaining. The attacks seemed somewhat slow, probably due to the fact Daisuke was simply testing him, not actually forcing him to show his best. 'If he wants to fail me, he'll have to try harder than that,' Takai thought to himself before whispering 'Get ready...' to Yamazaru. He had found a path past his brother to the hidden swords, and it would only take some skill and a little luck for it to be properly executed.

When the attacks had ended, Takai would mimic his brother to an extent, taking a step back before charging. Instead of sending a multitude of attacks, however, he would send one powerful horizontal slash once more, with the intent of distracting Daisuke. If Daisuke went to block it like last time, Yamazaru would be ready to jump over Daisuke and towards the swords. However, if Daisuke showed no sign of blocking, Yamazaru would instead be ready to fling the kunai towards him. If luck was with Takai, Daisuke would go for a simply block like before, but was he able to see that far into the future with his Sharingan? Takai had never really seen the Sharingan in action a whole lot, and did not posses his own, thus was not positive of its power.

Daisuke simply stood, amazed by his brother's spunk. His sharingan blazing like fire in his eyes, he watched Takai carefully and noticed the lip movements. He slowly crouched forward, stabbing his sword into the ground and reaching into his item pouch with both hands, withdrawing a handful of shuriken with each hand. He watched his brother, and as he stepped back and charged, Daisuke jumped back, launching the flurry of shurikens. As he leaped, he pressed both of his feet against the sides of his blade and went into a backflip, launching the blade into the air. He landed in a handstand before vaulting upwards, and twirling around in the air and catching his blade, all in rapid succession.

As the shuriken flew toward Takai, who probably didn't expect Daisuke to leap into the air as a way to avoid the slash, Daisuke flicked his wrist, and just in that second, the sun shone down and revealed a thin wire connecting Daisuke's wrists to the shuriken. Daisuke moved his wrists around in an intricate manner, causing the wire to intertwine, causing the wire to bunch and form a ball and a chain, except the shuriken action as the ball. Daisuke landed on the ground, and moved his hands around, still grasping his blade, tugging the shuriken mace back, and then violently swinging it forward, aiming for Takai's torso, in attempt to injure the monkey. This time, Daisuke wasn't holding back as much, and was moving with skill and speed that defined his rank.

Soushuriken no Jutsu - Manipulate Shuriken Technique

Soushuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used Uchiha Sasuke. After hurling his giant shuriken, Sasuke can control their path and movements by using wires which run from the shuriken itself back to his arm. Because his opponent will think they are normal shuriken, they will be off guard about their ability to redirect themselves.

As Takai had gone in for the slash, he noticed that his brother had one again found a way past his attacks. Throwing a multitude of shuriken at him, Takai would of course react by dodging to the right, though it was not necessarily needed, as the shurikens would be pulled back. Apparently Daisuke was using one of the old Uchiha jutsus, which allows someone to carefully control weapons via a wire attached to them. Watching the shuriken be formed into what seemed to be a mace, Takai would have to be quick and effective in his planning. Daisuke still had his sword, so a front attack would in no means work. Getting to the sword was his only way to show he had what it takes to become a master swordsman, and would rather die fighting his brother than failing to get at them.

When the mace had been launched at him, Takai had been very so expecting as much; basically he was winding up like a baseball. Big pull back to increase speed and damage. Since it was a given, Takai would have no problem jumping straight up, and landing right onto the wire; something quite a few years of training to perfect the very jutsu Daisuke was using had given him the ability to do. Just before actually landing on the 'mace', Takai had Yamazaru in hand, and would attempt to throw him at the Kiba blades, yet at the same time far overhead of his brother if he was in the way. Once landing, Takai would have to act quick or Daisuke would more than likely find a way to counter the plan.

Performing a quick set of hand seals, Daisuke would jump off of the mace directly at his brother, bringing his right hand up to his mouth once the hand seals were done. Blowing into his hand, a fireball would emerge, and send its way at Daisuke. The chances of this doing any damage were low, though it would probably burn some of Daisuke's clothes. It was mainly to allow the monkey enough time to reach the blades, and then for Takai to reach Yamazaru.

Jutsu Used:

Daisuke watched his brother jump onto the wire, and then violently yanked his arms back, purposely snapping the wire and most likely causing his brother to fall and most likely making the rest of this attack null and void. Daisuke smirked and prepared just in case his attack failed, and Takai decided to follow up. Chakra surged down his arm, and swirled around his hand, roaring as it formed a blue flame. He leaped forward, and intercepted the monkey. He threw his arm forward, attempt to grab Yamazaru's head and surge the chakra through its body, hopefully causing it overload and dispell. Daisuke, of course, had never tried this before he was so sure how it would work. The Uchiha would land on the ground, in front of Takai, monkey still in hand.

Even if the technique did not work, he would throw the monkey back to Takai and immediately go through a string of handseals. Once he executed the seals, he would hold both hands to the side, his right hand gripping Nuibari and the left hand clenched to make it seem as if it was holding another sword. Suddenly, the hand began to spark, and lightning rose from his palm, swirling and materializing into a blue sword made of pure raiton energy. He spun the equally size swords skillfully and beckoned his brother to come forth.

Chidori Eisou - Thousand Birds Sharp Spear

Chidori Eisou is a Lightning Element technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke. Sasuke is able to shape the Lightning Element to form an extending blade of lightning. Though unstated, this blade probably takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. This attack may also be similar to Chidori Nagashi, causing the target to go numb from the electrical charge.

Just as Takai had thrown Yamazaru, he would have to be ready for the landing. It would seem smooth for a split-second, though obviously Daisuke had been expecting such a thing to happen. Pulling back on the wire, he would attempt to snap the wire, but all it would due was bring Takai closer to his brother. Having jumped forward, he landed with his weight forward, thus more than capable for standing on the 'mace' while it traveled to its user. It was not a clean ride, but as Daisuke would jump up to intercept Yamazaru, Takai would release the torrent of flames upon his brother, which would intercept him before reaching up to the monkey's height, or at least at an angle where it would not harm the monkey. Whether or not Daisuke was incapacitated by such an attack did not matter, as Takai would then land, and immediately make a dash for the swords. Hopefully Yamazaru would be there, had he not been still caught by Daisuke. Not wasting an instant, he would see them, grab them, and turn around to see his brother.
