Bookwoman,Unknown

Bookwoman Laviiiirenderr-1

General Information
Name: Bookwoman, formerly went by the name of Asako Hyosuke.

Nickname: Asa. Uniquely reserved to a few people.

Gender: Female.

Body Type: Androginous, slender.

General Appearance.

Bookwoman's hair is short, tainted of a bloodred color, often held back with a green bandana. She wears over her right eye a black patch, hiding behind it a certain secret. Her skin is pale, easily tanned and whitened, depending on the weather and how much she gets out. Her only visible eye is emerald green and seems always dull and empty.
She has long limbs, even though she has a rather small stature. Her chest is flat as a board, often letting people mistake her for a boy, younger than fifteen, cover she uses and abuses of.

Her clothes are of many different colors, passing from red to green and black to white. The most noticable peice of cloth would be an orange scarf, only remain of her past she allows herself to keep. Her shirt is black and red, the collar closed with a piece of brown string. Her pants are black, her boots that reach her up to the shin are dark brown, her jacket black and white. She never gives any particular attention to her clothes or the association of the colors, but is very possesive when it comes to the scarf and bandana.

Personality:
Bookwoman is a person who has a retracted personality, with no apparently personal desires, opinions nor will. She excuses her behavior as necessary for her work as secret history recorder.
She is a person with a vaste knowledge and has a very open mind, accepting all type of behavior, simply because she doesn't take anything on a personal or human level. She would appear as a monster in many opinions, which doesn't bother or affect her at all. Usually, when someone would report her about those thoughts or simply express it's feelings the person carries for her, Bookwoman would only look directly in the person's eyes and declare that it doesn't matter and that the only thing she is interested in is to write down all notable events. Having any human affection for anyone or anything goes against her aestetics as Bookwoman and she is firmly determinded not to get involved into human history, fearing to let her feelings interfere with the veracity of the records.

The fact Bookwoman refuses any human contact or feelings, doesn't mean she approves of unnecessary violence, torture, insults. Nor is she completely insensible when a person is in pain or in need of help. Having old memories plague her and to get her mind at some peace, she has decided to let only one man enter her world: Yakate, the brother of her former alias, Asako Hyosuke.
Also, flaws aren't existing in her personal dictionary. Laziness simply doesn't exist in her way of being and slacking off is a no-no. Having a perfectionist and curious side, Bookwoman opens up to any sort of information and knowledge, the range going from science to litterature, passing by religion, culture and secret techniques.

Bookwoman would agree that she has a rough personality on the outside and that she seems to be angry or frustrated most of the time. But even the most reclused persons have soft spots, even though they hate to admit it. Having kept some of her former persona's traits, she still loves napping on the roof and teasing (with more sarcasm though) the people she works with. And taking Yakate out for a meal would still be something she enjoys doing, even though she'd vehemently denie it.

Other: No one, ever comments about the fact that she has a flat chest. Nor that she looks like a boy. It simply leads to immediate murder and torture. And the fact she misses an eye is taboo too.

Age: 22

Height: 1.65m
Weight: 55kg

Likes: Writing, napping on a roof, Yakate (respect, not liking!), her bandana, wasabi sushi.

Dislikes: Noisy people, Idiots, unnecessary blood spill, having to involve herself into something.

~Bio~

Before even being able to explain Bookwoman's history, a short introduction about Bookmen has to be made.
The Bookman clan, or family, are a small group of people, chosen randomly between the people in the world, to be the official recorders of secret history, like religion involved wars, unexplained natural phenomnoms or stories that implicate ninjas and their villages. Bookmen, or Bookwomen depending on the gender, are supposed to abstract themselves from the world as human, and accept a certain reality and fact that they aren't allowed to mingle with those of their race, having been "chosen" for a "holy" task. Bookmen are rather fanatic, and it isn't unusual to hear about "brainwashing-methods", even though it is a taboo. Last important fact about this clan, is that they are pacific. They will participate in the fight with the group they joined to write the history about, but they will never initiate a battle, war or dispute. If that rule is borken, or that of having any relationship with a human at all, the position they have as Bookman is most likely compromised.

Bookwoman, formerly known as Asako Hyosuke, has no memories of before she became a Bookwoman. She has no name, no entity and certainly no past. When she woke up from a certain lethargic state, the urge to write, to discover took over her and she joined an old man, Bookman, to learn about her position and obligations. It would be untrue to say that she didn't harbor any feelings for the "Old Panda" as she called him, but the fact was that she had no right to show or share them.

Bookman taught her many things about writings, litterature, human psychology, culture, religion and customs, knowledge she drank avidly like a sponge absorbing water. She also learned about science, biology, medical knowledge, mathematics and anything that could be related to a daily life, as cooking, sewing, cleaning and taking care of children, like a good married woman would. Bookwoman would tell you in all honesty that it was the part of her apprentissage that she disliked the most.
The Old Panda also taught her how to remebmer efficiently, how to develop a photographic memory and mostly how t oseparate her feelings from herself and how to lock them up, deep inside of her. Sadly, as the old man said, the training had never reached a complete state, having been killed before he could give her the key to loick the door to her soul.

Bookwoman atteigned the age of 20 at some point, after having worn five different names and practiced several professions and joined several causes. She has seen many people die, being tortured, being torn apart from her family, but she never lifted a finger for them. It was forbidden, taboo and unthinkable. But alas, Bookwoman was still human and she broke the rules.
The old man was always proud to say that Bookwoman was his best student, who followed his path perfectly. Bookwoman took a great pride in it and swore to never aquaintance any human to a personal level. But that idea failed and disappeared from her mind for a young ninja, called Chomesuke.
The young man was barely older than her, young, full of energy, but crippled by one arm. His cheery and eternaly potimistic character intrigued and annoyed Bookwoman to a high level, bringing her to follow him, trying to save him from being too reckless. Chomesuke was proud to tell everyone they met that he was the one who made her first smile and laugh, to which Bookwoman would give him a flying kick. The brunet was also the only one to get her to call her by a name, other than Bookwoman. "Asa" he had randomly said one day.
"Asa? Yes, it is morning, Moron, don't be stupid." she had snarled back at him.
"No, no, no, I meant, as name for you. You're always up very early and calling you Bookwoman takes too much energy." grinned Chomesuke while touseling her hair.
"As if I'd let you call me that." she had grumbled halfheartedly, slapping his hand away.
But it still happened. Chomesuke happily called her Asa and she chased him without much coonviction each time he did so.

But happiness isn't something that goes on for long. Chomesuke died in an accident, where he had saved Bookwoman from a fall out of a tree, in the middle of a training with her. And like a coward, she had fled his body, leaving a heavy weight on her shoulders and many questions rummaging in her mind.
It was two weeks later that she met Yakate, her brother of her former life and soon to be sensei.

As time passes, Bookwoman gains some old traits back of her former persona.

General appearance:

Bookwoman's hair will stay short, but rarely properly dyed anymore, showing black streaks inbetween the red ones. She's trying to grow it out once again, without much success.
Her skin will darken with the desert sun and wind. It is now of a soft honey-brown color
Her green eye, will loose it's color with the awakening of the bloodline, getting a pale jade color without a pupil, as it was before her awakening as Bookwoman. She'll turn eventually blind and lose all life in her eye.

Personality:

Bookwoman will regain her lazy nature, but won't let it interfere with her training nor work anymore. She'll take responsabilities and tries to actually get along with people. She'll also run aorund after Yakate, trying to have at least some manners and be some more responsible.
Bonds and friendship are still a delicate matter and she's weary of people, having forgotten her naive love for every passing person.
"Crowding" was something she still didn't like doing, especially not when she was associated to the people. But she coped up with it at and waited to be in private with the person to tell him or her that he or she is sorely mistaken that she'd be friends with them. Just to keep her pride as Bookwoman intact.

And about her annoying habit of refusing to call people by their name remained sadly, Yakate having to keep on suffering being called an "Idiotic Rapunzel"...

Chakra no Mesu [Chakra Scalpel]
Rank: C
Description: Chakra no Mesu is a special Ninjutsu technique used by medical ninjas. After forming the needed handseals, the ninja will focus chakra to his or her hands. When his or her charged hands reach the body of the target, the user can extend the chakra internally into the target's body to cut and neatly slice the target's muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle.

Saikan Chuushutsu no Jutsu [Fine Affliction Extraction]
Rank: B
Description: Saikan Chuushutsu no Jutsu is a skill used by medical ninja to remove harmful poisons from a patient's body. The ninja will infuse his or her chakra into liquid, which he or she will insert into the patient. The user will then use the liquid as a medium to draw out the poison from the cells. This mix can then be removed from the body. Depending on the deadliness of the poison, further treatment with an antidote or medicine may be required.

Chikatsu Saisei no Jutsu [Healing Resuscitation Regeneration]
Rank: A
Description: Chikatsu Saisei is an advanced medical Ninjutsu technique. The technique allows the medical ninja to use the hair of the one injured as a medium to reconstruct damaged body tissue. The extent of the damage will control how difficult and long the procedure is. The injured person will be placed in the center of a square marked with rites for the procedure. One medical ninja will sit at each corner to provide precise chakra control to help in the cell conversion process. Another medical ninja will sit at the lead to guide the process.

Ranshinshou [Chaotic Mental Collision]
Rank: A
Description: Changing the chakra in his or her hand into an electricity, the user can create an electric field to disrupt the target's nervous system. Because the brain and body communicate using electrical impulses, the shinobi can use the field to disrupt the target's ability to move. What results is commands to move one body part being relayed to another, making it near impossible for the target to move unless he or she has high skill and understanding of the body.

Shousen Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique]
Rank: A
Description: Shousen Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing his or her own chakra to his or her hands. If the ninja is highly skilled, he or she is able to heal more critical injuries. Highly skilled medical-Nins can use these techniques to perform surgeries that otherwise would not be possible.

Name: Snake Bite
Element: Poison
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Description: The user will create a few hand seals and launch itself at the enemy, biting it wherever it can bite. The poison that has stocked itself in the user's teeth, will transfer in the place where it has been bitten; the closer to the head, the more chances there are to die. If it is a limb, the poison will paralyze it and only a specific antidote that a medic ninja or Asako knows can save the limb again; without it won't ever work again.

All of them don't have a range.
I bought them on the 5/1/2011 at the marketplace. They thus enter now in the play, since Booky finished all her threads: thus in the next one, she'll be an epic medic~!
