What are Bijuu?

If you don't know what the Bijuu are and have joined this forum, you must suck. But it's our job to make all the suckers intelligible.

A bijuu is, as described by Narutoverse, a tailed beast housing plenty of chakra. The origin of the Tailed Beasts is... known, but I won't spoil the story for people not reading the manga. Bijuu are giant demons - their body comprising of pure chakra. They are sometimes referred to as 'Chakra Monsters'. With this power, any single Tailed Beast could completely destroy the world of Naruto by itself. However, they are beasts after all; they do not have the intelligence to utilize their power properly. And to overcome this, tailed beasts can manifest themselves within a human. Not only does this keep them from rampaging about like the crazy beasts they are, it also lets them utilize the intelligence of the human and therefore utilize their power effectively. There are nine beasts in all, differentiated by the number of tails they have - thus leading to the name 'Tailed Beasts'.

Recap: Bijuu are giant beasts made out of chakra. They are really powerful, but stupid. They can be sealed within humans. There are 9 beasts in all.

The Nine Beasts

1 ) The One-Tailed Shukaku - Wind Release
2 ) The Two-Tailed Monster Cat - Fire Release
3 ) The Three-Tailed Giant Turtle - Water Release
4 ) The Four-Tailed Monkey - Fire Release, Earth Release, Lava Release
5 ) The Five-Tailed Dolphin Horse - Fire Release, Water Release, Boil Release
6 ) The Six-Tailed Slug - Water Release, Lightning Release, Storm Release
7 ) The Seven-Tailed Horned Beetle - Sound
8 ) The Eight-Tailed Giant Ox - Ink
9 ) The Nine-Tailed Fox - Fire Release, Wind Release
10 ) The Zero-Tailed Masked Leech* - Darkness Release

*The zero-tailed leech was introduced in a Naruto Movie. Although it has a tailed beast name, it is not part of the nine tailed beasts. But it's pretty cool, so we'll add it as a tenth bijuu.

Unique Traits of each of the Beasts

1 - Ichibi

• It is a Tanuki - a raccoon dog.
• It has one tail.
• It has dark blue markings all over his head and body. It's mouth is huge, jagged, and concave.
• The sclera of its eyes are black, containing yellow irides with pupils that each takes the shape of a black four-pointed star with four black dots around it.
• It can manipulate sand.
• It can influence a host while the host is sleeping.
• It relishes the opportunity to kill, especially during a Full Moon.
• It has an enormous amount of chakra, but less than that of the Two Tails.
• It eats away at its hosts' personality.
• It is cunning, but incoherent.
• Enormous bloodlust.

2 - Nibi

• It is a Bakeneko.
• It has two tails.
• It's body is covered in blue flames.
• It's right eye is yellow, while the left eye is green.
• It can breathe fire.
• It is very flexible and fast.
• Houses plenty of brute strength.
• Cpmtains plenty of chakra, but less than that of the Three-Tails.

3 - Sanbi

• It is a giant turtle.
• It has a crab like shell, but three shrimp like tails.
• It has a blind right eye.
• It can swim really fast.
• It uses it's size in many of its techniques.
• It is big. Kinda obvious, really.
• It has plenty of chakra, but less than that of the Four-Tails.
• Has an affinity for water.

4 - Yonbi

• It is a monkey.
• It has four tails.
• It has horns on its forehead.
• It is very muscular and furry.
• It is impressive in that it can combine Fire and Earth chakra to create Lava.
• Houses a lot of chakra, but less than the Five-Tails.

5 - Gonbi

• It is a horse, with the head of a dolphin.
• It has five tails.
• It has two long horns and two short horns on its head.
• It has red markings under its eyes.
• Not much is known about this beast.
• It can manipulate Fire and Water Chakra, and combine them to create the Boil element.
• It contains massive chakra, albeit less than that of the Six-Tails.

6 - Rokubi

• It is a giant, chubby slug.
• It has six tails.
• It has legs and arms which are pathetically small.
• Not much is known about this beast.
• It has power of Water and Lightning chakras, and can combine them to create the Storm element.
• It has a lot of chakra, but less than that of the Seven-Tails.

7 - Nanabi

• It is a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle.
• It has seven tails extending from its abdomen.
• Not much is known about this beast.
• Notable for its manipulation of sound.
• Has a lot of chakra - less than the Eight-Tails.

Village: Sunagakure

8 - Hachibi

• It's cool but retarded.
• It is a Giant Ox.
• It has five horns; four on its head, and one on its chin. One of the horns is broken.
• It has no hind legs; instead, it has eight octopus-like tentacles which represent its eight tails.
• It can regenerate its tentacles.
• It is even larger than the Three-Tails - As tall as a mountain.
• It is the friendliest and smartest of all the Tailed Beasts, albeit pretty violent if the host isn't liked by it.
• It can spurt out ink.
• Despite being large, it doesn't have a powerful defense.
• Has enormous reserves of chakra.

9 - Kyuubi

• It is a Fox.
• It has Nine-Tails.
• It has orange fur and red eyes, and its upper body resembles that of a human (It has thumbs).
• Its tails are the length of its own body, and it can freely control them.
• Looks very similar to 'Origin of the Tailed Beasts'.
• By far the strongest, cleverest, most malevolent, and most treacherous of all the Tailed Beasts.
• It has a distinct sense of honor - it does not like the idea of being controlled or held back by anything.
• So powerful, its just a few steps away from demi-godlike powers. E.x. Flattening mountains with its tails, creating tsunamis when it roars.
• Hellofalotta chakra.
• Has an affinity for Fire and Wind.

10 - Reibi

• Not really a Tailed Beast.
• It is a leech wearing a Noh mask.
• It is an evil spirit created by the dark thoughts and feelings of people.
• It can use negative emotions within one's heart to create Dark Chakra.
• It inhabits the body of anyone nearby who is emotionally unstable.
• Unlike the manifestation and removal of other Tailed Beasts, it does not require any human sacrifices to be implanted, nor will the host die if it leaves the host's body.
• It can regenerate from wounds.
• Has no chakra of its own.
