Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach using the Body Flicker Technique, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Description: This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones do not have shadows and will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed.[2] To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination.

Name: Water Clone Technique

Description: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original person's power.Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.

Name: Hidden Mist Technique

Description: This displacement technique is a specialty of the ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

Description: The user spits out high-viscosity, chakra-mixed water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few meters, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channeling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

Description: This technique summons a flock of countless crows, dazzling the enemy. The user can freely manipulate the crows by emitting chakra from his fingertips and altering it into high frequency waves. Since the crows continuously clone themselves, the target becomes completely surrounded, obscuring their field of vision. When no longer needed, the crows will simply disappear in a puff of smoke.

Description: This technique makes use of the users chakra as a paralysing agent. The user throws kunai with strings attached at the opponent. Once the enemy is hit, chakra is run through the string to paralyse the opponent, which will serve to either incapacitate the enemy or allow the user to attack.However, against those who can absorb chakra, this technique could backfire as the target may simply steal chakra from the user, while exhibiting immunity to the paralysis, as Kisame demonstrated.

Description: This technique lets the user create a three-sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the jutsu can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the walls with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.

Type: Method of Murder
Description: As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally, because the user is very silent, it cannot be defended against. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist are said to be masters of this technique, and were even good enough to track and kill opponents through sound alone.

Shinji Hattori was born in the Swamp Country as the one and only child to two parent ninjas of the Swamp Village. His father hails from a very old clan of ninjas which name is Hattori. It is said that they were one of the first clans of ninjas to appear. Through the years though the Hattori clan preserved their name but it was divided greatly and Hattori clan members rarely know anyone else beyond themselves that are Hattori. Just like most of the Hattori the ninjas excelled in using traditional ninja combat that lacked jutsus or any sort of the new unorthodox ways of fighting. So did Shinji who was came to be born very talented in the art of assassination and concealment.
Ever since he joined the Academy of Swamp at the age of six his speed is something that every teacher notes about him.
He graduated at the age of 12 and was assigned to a genin team.

Shinji's personality and humoristic views of situations brought life in the gloomy genin team he was assigned to. His attitude changed the other's views on life and they became friendly rather than hostile. This friendliness brought harmony to the team and they found out that they have great team chemistry and missions for them were quite easy as their teamwork was impressive compared to the other genin teams. Shinji's sensei was a very hybrid shinobi excelling in more than one aspect of the art of the ninja and despite the big differences between the genins he was able to teach them what he knew and he successfully unlocked the potential hidden within anyone of them. The sensei was quite strict and stern when it came to the chuunin exams and even though he knew about their amazing teamwork he signed them for the exams when they had turned sixteen. The team both in individual and team tasks were successful and took the highlights on them with many offers from rich people for different missions and as bodyguards.

Of course Shinji's genin team was jubilant after their promotion to the so much desired rank of chuunin but they realized that they would rarely see each other and separation was something none of them wanted but it was necessary. They knew they had to face it and overcome it this time individually. Musashi, his male teammate, was assigned as a bodyguard to a rich daimyo while Nami, his female teammate, was assigned to the Spy corps. Shinji on the other hand was picked in the Hunter Nin corps due to his great dedication to the village.
From that day on Shinji did not see none of his teammates for a very long time. Every day he practiced with his fellow hunter ninjas and each time he was sent on a mission he returned gloomy with a cold facial expression. The chuunin's personality was grinded inside and locked in the depths of his heart as Shinji turned into a cold and ruthless tool of Swamp. Shinji achieved many merits in service to the hunter nin corps but a faithful day he realized how his soul was absorbed by the HUnter nin corps and had shaped him into a machine of killing. The faithful day was the funeral of his great friend and former teammate Musashi. There he also was reunited with Nami which was shedding tears, she never had the courage to admit her feelings to Musashi but now it was too late. The death of his friend awoke the long forgotten personality of Shinji. He realized how precious is one's life and with lots of persistance Shinji was able to drop out from the Hunter nin's corps. The chuunin's mark of the life he lead as a ruthless and cold killer was marked on his right shoulder with the tatoo of the corps but the Hattori conceals it with a metal shoulderpad.

Although his former personality was unlocked, Shinji still was very adept in the art of assassination and did not hesitate when it came to killing but he was aware of what he was doing and for what reason. He was once again a normal ninja and not a murderer.
