The Blacksmith Shop

A fresh new shop just recently opened up at the end of the street. Its a black metal framed building and the wooden walls are made with strong ashwood and painted a deep red color. There are windows cut out in the walls about 5x5 to help keep heat from building up to extreme temperatures inside the building. The general appearance from the outside is a dojo theme, finished with a steel sign of two mallets crossing over an anvil and held by chains so that it sways slightly in the breeze.

Once inside you can see three furnaces, one usually kept hot at all times. Each furnace has its own anvil, tools, and water barrels to cool crafted items with. During the building the floor wasn't place, so instead of wood, tile, or carpet dirt and ground are there. This keeps sparks from catching fire to the floor, as dirt can quickly be kicked to smother any sparks or coals that are too big to go out on their own. In the roof another window is cut out, not visible from the front of the shop where heat is also allowed to escape.

As one continues they go out the back door, where a fenced in property can be seen. There is nothing fancy here save for a few square patches of dirt that seem to be plowed or raked regularly. Against the wall to the left of the back door are several barrels filled with metal ore. To the right of the back door against the wall is a shelf with several square cubicles. Each cubicle holds several different types of metal bars, refined ore that has no impurities. Other than that there isn't much to else to see.
