Take a Bite of my Heart [Open to... Read the post!]

Yakate had gotten used to the glaring light produced when the sun's rays refelcted back to his eyes against the desert's sand; sadly, he was yet to grow accustomed to the sun itself. That was the reason he found himself rolling in the sun, squishing each of his eyes against his palms, bare-chested and with black khakis on his legs.

What had happened was this.

That morning, he found himself surprisingly energetic (perhaps it was something in a drink from the previous night). Skipping all the details, he found himself running out into the village, with his arms spread out on either side of him like a paper airplane's wings. Performing a few laps around his home, he stopped right in front of the entrance to it, and stared up in the sky, letting out a powerful war-cry.

... In a few seconds, he found his eyes burning. Almost literally.

It was lucky for him that no one was around. Or at least, no one yet. It was no honor for the Kage of Sunagakure to be found in such a state.

But then of course, Yakate didn't really care.
