Personality:
Yau is a collected person, he isn't quick to act or judge. However he is dead set in his ways, if he has made a decision he won't let anyone change his mind, unless that person was the current leader of the Village. He sees his friends in the highest manner and will stop at nothing to protect them. His loyalty is unquestioned, he would put his life on the line for those he is sworn to protect. His vows can be taken as the truth, if he gives his word on something he would sooner end his life then not complete something he said he would do.

Yau has a personality that causes him to test everyone he meets, however the test is never the same. These tests can include anything from a simple question to him attacking them out of nowhere, or even sometimes left alone in the wild to fend for themselves. While he is normally a kind person, he would not hesitate to take someone down if it was best for the people he is supposed to protect. He is a firm believer in; "The Many Before The One," so if he must sacrifice one person to save many others he will do so.

His jobs often lead him to positions many others would find cruel and inhuman, such as hunting, when he is out hunting he doesn't hesitate to take his kill. However not once has he ever wasted one scrap of a kill, if it isn't something he can use personally he leaves it for wild animals, or uses it as fertilizer for the garden.

Special Abilities:
Hyōton - Ice Release
Yau's Ice release is unique, in the fact that as far as he knows it has no connections to any bloodlines or clans, but he has the ability to create ice from the moisture in the air. The ice he creates is capable of being incredibly cold, being able to freeze most living things it comes in contact with(Remember this will come with time...it won't be this cold at first)
Strengths:
Mental;

1. Quick Adapter - He was trained at a young age to adapt easily to new situations.
   
2. Loyal - Very loyal, he would never betray his friends, and will often put his life on the line to protect them.

Physical;

1. Kenjutsu - Has basic skills in many weapons, from swords to whips. Most sufficient in Swords and Kusarigama(chain-sickle).
   
2. Great Aim - can hit a moving target from about 35 paces(about 90 feet).
   
3. Sufficient Chakra Control - Chakra control is slightly above average for advanced shinobi his age.

4. Overprotective - Very protective of his friends and small children, which can put him in danger in some situations.

1. Genjutsu - incapable of using genjutsu.
   
2. Pain Insensitivity - Incapable of feeling any pain on the back of his body. Which means if someone attacked him from behind he wouldn't know it until he passed out or lost consciousness.
