Bio: The only female ninja in Akatsuki and the only member to call her partner, Pein, by his name. "Ko" can mean child or sin. "Nan" means difficulty or hardships (appropriate due to the traumatic childhood she had). When she was younger, Konan, Nagato, and Yahiko were left orphaned by one of Amegakure's many wars, forcing them to fend for themselves. The three eventually encountered the Sannin, who gave them some food. Konan impressed them by making an elaborate flower out of the paper wrappers left behind. After Nagato killed the Rock Chunin, Jiraiya took them up on their offer and began to teach them Ninjutsu. Jiraiya believed Konan to have died with Nagato and Yahiko some time later, and upon seeing her again years later, he comments on how beautiful she has become, as well as her improvement in her paper jutsu. Konan has a relatively mysterious personality. Mostly, she is stoic, calm, and level-headed (much like Pein). As a child, she was bright and relatively cheerful compared to the tough Yahiko and sensitive Nagato. However, the trauma of events since then have left her more serious and solemn and she never spoke until her most recent appearances. She does seem to be more empathic than other Akatsuki members, as she appears sad whenever she has been reminded of her past. She also expresses a great deal of loyalty and courtesy to Pein (which he always returns), doing his bidding without question and looking out for his well-being. She seems to act as an intermediary between Pein and Amegakure, the villages having given her the title "God's Angel" for this reason. Fans suspect that she and Pein harbor feelings towards one another as both converse the way a married couple would. Moreover, Pein freed her from Jiraiya's grasp without hesitation or request; and Konan is never seen talking to any other Akatsuki member than her partner. She also has the ability to read Pein's emotions without him facially expressing them. In their travels she encountered a young child named Vash. This child was amazingly similar to Konan in her unique abilities. the young child could, using paper that had come from her body, create one bird, to attack an opponent. Konan was amazed. She spoke with the childs parents, asking them if she could come with her to train under her for awhile. Immediately the childs parents refused, knowing her reputation with Pein. She left and they traveled for a few months, before returning to the village. In the middle of the night she took young Vash, and fled with her to the Rain village with Pein. She calmed the young child who was very frightened and spoke with her, showing her that they both shared the same trait, and explaining to her that she would show her how to become a strong and skilled ninja. The small girl understood and listened and began to train, coming to know Konan as both a teacher and a mother figure.

Jutsu's:
God's Divine Strike - Like most of her Jutsu, she doesn't have to do hand seals because she can actually control paper, and like all of her other Jutsus she uses paper. Konan will have the paper that peels off of her form into various straight swords, without a hilt or guard. Ove there are a large number of them flying around she will have them fly downward at the enemy, to penetrate every inch of their body.

Rain of Death- without hand seals, she will have her paper form into various shurikens, kunai, paper bullets, spikes and senbon.Once they all form they will rain down upon her opponent in a manner similar to her God's Divine Strike Technique.

Paper Clones- Much like the Shadow clone technique, she can create clones out of paper that will take on the form and look of herself. These clones are able to attack on their own and can even use the sword of Heaven like the original Konan. Once the clones are hit, they will fall into a pile of paper and float back to Konan.

Angels Wings- This Jutsu allows her to, using paper from her legs, create wings attached to her back. The wingspan is 10 feet or less and is used to allow her to hover above her enemy for a height advantage, although she rarely uses them for transportation.

Paper Planes/Butterflies- This Technique is usually used for reconnaissance, although they also allow her to get from one place to another at a rapid rate. Konan will peel away and form the pieces of paper into tiny airplanes, or even butterflies, as it is easier to travel in this form and remain undetected.

Explosive Paper- By infusing her paper with Chakra she is able to make it explode on impact

Sword of Heaven- Konan's paper will form a sword with a blade about three and a half feet in length, Once the sword is formed she can use it for hand to hand combat, although she is not great at it, she is equivalent to Orochimaru. Like the Kusanagi, her blade can stretch by adding more paper to it. The other ability of this sword is that when it comes into contact with something the paper can come apart, then re-attach itself and continue the strike. It can not be destroyed other than by fire.

Paper destruction- Konan Can also control an opponents paper. If someone were to pull out a scroll she can destroy it, by ripping it, with this Jutsu. This is also effective against Paper Bombs, Paper Seals, Exploding notes/tags, and all other things made of paper.

Paper form- This Jutsu is active at all times, especially during battle. Konan is able to peel paper away from her skin and use it to attack her opponents, the other benefits of this are being very strong against Taijutsu/Kenjutsu attacks, as the paper just peels away from herself at each attack, then re-forms, and she is able to dodge attacks more easily. The disadvantage of this is that she is weaker to most elements.

Facial Paper Technique- Equivalent to Orochimaru's Vanishing Facial Technique, Konan will sit in front of a dead or unconscious body and perform one hand seal. Her paper will slowly float around her and cover her completely. After a few moments she will transform into the body she was in front of. In this form she can still use all of her Jutsu's and her Paper form. To release the technique, all of her paper will completely float away from her body, and re-form as her normal self.

Paper Swarm- With this attack, Konan peels the paper away from her body and it swarms the opponent with a sotmr of paper that binds the body in tight layers, until the enemy cannot move.

Paper's Soul Technique- a ready made origami figure is transfigured through use of hand-seals and chakra concentration to become whatever shape it holds in real life. i.e.: origami frog becomes a real frog! However the Kami no seinshin is like the kage bunshin and returns to its origami form after taking a blow.

Hectic Whorism- By utilizing her body in a tight snag, Konan will slump her stomach against an either unsuspecting, or poor victim, and create an average sized seipukku blade from her stomach. If sucessful, it will rid through an opponent's innards and result in perfect death. But, Konan will be covered in the opponent's blood until it dries. Leaving a nasty residue on the cloak of her Robe, leaving her open for Freezing? attacks.

Sweet Insanity- Using mental warfare, Konan will turn into a door-sized peice of white paper, and uncountably multiply into exact replica's of the original, all bearing an image of Konan herself. these doors, however many there are, will surround and encase an opponent, if they are trapped properly in an octagonal prison of Konan's image. Muxch like the crystal ice mirrors, Konan only occupies on of the doors, but she flickers in a twiirling motion in each one. Like rotating doors, they will show off different poses of Konan, and only one with an Eye based ninja trait can discern one from the rest.
Throwing an Opponent into madness, Konan will actually slash at an opponent from out of the Paper doors, leaving them confused and of course irratated with their lack of ability to find her.

Sanctuary Horsewomen-Konan will use up her entire body for this ninjutsu, and will disappear and form herself into the shape of four horse women. Lust, Vanity, Envy, and Sloth. Each will trample over an opponent, but deliver no more damage than what is given.

Paper Shield Technique- paper is scattered around the user, and through hand seals the paper forms a protective paper dome around the user capable of withstanding shuriken hits for a while.

Black Butterfly Beach- By utilizing the paper that makes up Konan's body, she is able to form herself into various comical and elaborate shapes, in this case, she turns herself into four-winged butterflies. The interesting part is, they change the color of the paper to a pitch black, via a color based ninjutsu, this doesn't really do anything, but offers more of a visual effect.
The butterflies, however slow, bear more blades of paper than the other forms of Origami, and form into an enormus tornado of sorts.
The butterflies, in a unique pattern, will break away from the main walls of the tornado, and of course cut specfically designated parts of the body in a violent flurry of cutting. If one knows the pattern which the butterflies move, they can evade this attack sucessfully.

Paper Concealment- Not an Attack, this special ability allows Konan to compress her paper body onto any flat surface, making her essentially undetectable.

Chakra Umbrella Technique- A technique she uses for staying dry in the rain, which is ever present with Pein around. After a few short handsigns the user can create an invisible umbrella by extending their arm over their head and holding an open palm toward the sky. Ths "umbrella" stops all rain but cannot stop rain jutsus that take a more solid form, such as the rain spear technique.

Medical Jutsus:

Shousen Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique - Shousen Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands. If the ninja is highly skilled, they are able to heal more critical injuries

Chakra Scalpel - Chakra Scalpal is a special Ninjutsu technique used by medical ninjas. After forming the needed handseals, the ninja will focus chakra to their hands. When their charged hands reach the body of their target, they can extend the chakra internally into the targets body to cut and neatly slice their muscles and blood veseels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle

Shujutsushitsu No jutsu - Surgical Ninjutsu - The user uses healing chakra to preform medical needs on or off the battle feild. Can Pertain to, but is not limited to Eye Surgery or loss of limb Surgery.

Sweet Asylum [Imaginary Conviction] - Trapping an opponent in a genjutsu, then leaving them alone in a desperatelty creepy feild of pink flowers with a purple sky, Konan is nowhere to be found. An opponent can freak out as much as they wisdh here, but they realize the flowers turn into blades, and violently rip off skin from the victim, finely dicing an opponent up, and leaving nothing but a red spray of blood where the human used to be. However, this is Konan's signature finishing jutsu, and should be taken highly seriously.
Once an opponent is hit by a flurry of Paper, and suspended, they are considerably left there to die. BUT, to be fair, they are able to substitute themselves, to keep themselves alive.

Explosive Barrage- Using the Explosive paper technique, she has her paper form into Senbons and prepare to rain down upon the opponent, covering an area 40 meters x 40 meters square, and as the senbons impact they explode.

Weaknesses: primarily water, since paper clings to itself and looses stiffness when wet. To negate this, Pein has taught her Chakra Umbrella so she can move around the village. Her abilities can also be negated by smothering her in oil. Furthermore, she appears vulnerable to Fire Release techniques

Outfit: Akatsuki Robe and always has an elaborate origami flower in her hair

Abilities: Konan is a shinobi of some power, as she is held in high regard by her partner Pein. However, Jiraiya held her off with relative ease. She has a natural talent for origami, as seen with the paper flower she keeps in her hair. As a child, after training with Jiraiya, she was able to form paper weapons infused with her chakra, which could pierce flesh easily. As an adult and member of Akatsuki, her powers have grown considerably. Her entire body now can transform into thousands of sheets of paper, which she can control at will and form into any shape (Her clothes transform too). To travel long distances, she can mold them into butterflies or planes for powered flight, and to attack, the sheets can form arrows, shuriken, or kunai. She can also restrain opponents by blanketing them in sheets restricting their movement. Befitting (and likely inspiring) her title as 'God's Angel', the papers can also form large wings for flight or further weaponry. As a whole, she is probably quite difficult to harm since most physical attacks would go straight through her, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Wind Jutsu:

Fūton: Kiritori Kazekadō no Jutsu (Wind Release: Severing Wind Vortex Technique) - This is performed without handsigns, like the Rasengan, and is of a similar concept. It is performed by gathering wind chakra into a powerful vortex around the user's hand. It requires precise control to regulate the wind without the user ripping their own hand to shreds

Assault of Piercing Wind

Description: The user forms a succession of hand signs quickly as a whip forms between their hands, the user grasps the whip with either hand and they begin slashing at the opponent with it, the opponent however is distracted and can not dodge every strike efficiently as a loud whistling wind sound is piercing into their ears and distorting their senses.

Description: The user calls upon winds of up to 100mph to assault only one portion of their opponents body, usually to the point of the area caving in on itself( Example: using this jutsu on a opponents knee to the point where the bone shatters)

Wind Armour
Style: Ninjutsu/ Taijutsu
Description: The user concentrates a huge amount of wind chakra to completely cover their body in slashing wind, this stopping the opponents strikes from hardly doing anything for 5 turns unless a Katon (fire) jutsu. The taijutsu aspect is that this wind is sharp enough to increase the strikes of the user quite a bit, not only striking the opponent but cutting them at the same time.

Description: The ninja gathers air with his hands and mixes it with chakra, by doing this he transforms them into sharp and deadly needles. The needles are almost invisible so it is hard for the enemies to see them. Because the needles are made of air they cannot be blocked or deflected. The only way to ensure safety is to dodge them.

Description: The shinobi uses a fan or the correct elemental affinity to blow a concussive wind that is imbued with their Chakra. When the opponent is caught in the wind, a tornado will raise them into the air and hold them with the Chakra. The wind will then begin to cut the target like a sickle.

Fuuton Furyuu no Jutsu (Wind Dragon)

Description: Creates a dragon formed from wind. The dragon looks like a large serpent, a traditional Chinese dragon that is twenty feet long. The dragon has a red mane and the rest of his body borders light blue. The color is not distinct because the wind manipulates it from its color to transparency. The dragon can shoot Kaze Kongou from its mouth.

Description: After the user wipes their own blood on the area in front of them or on the offensive weapon they intend to use for the attack, Daikamaitachi No Jutsu is prepared as normal. But instead, when the wind is released, a large summoned weasel, as well as a long pole, two short sickles and a container becomes shaped out of the wind. This is a much more intensified gust of wind that is able to chop down trees with ease.

Kaze Gyorai no Jutsu (Wind Torpedo)

Description: The user gathers a large amount of wind into his lungs and expels it in a single blow. The wind forms a torpedo that is near invisible that launches towards the opponent. Upon contact it explodes with the force of two exploding tags.

Kaze no Yaiba (Wind Blade)

Description: Creates a blade of wind around the user’s arm. The sword cannot be blocked due to it being made of wind but it can be dodged. Since the wind is condensed down it does weigh down the user’s arm.

Fuuton - Renkuudan (Drilling Air Projectile)

Description: Renkuudan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. The user inhales a large amount of air into their chest and then expels it in one large explosive burst. To strengthen the attack, they will imbue chakra into the air and then release it in large, spherical projectile shots.

Fuuton Fuuryuudan no Jutsu

Description: Powerful attack that creates a huge surge of wind in the shape of a dragon, which is sent towards the opponent. Large dragon, much like the Suiryuudan in size but made out of wind. If the victim is hit they will suffer great amounts of damage. It will seem as if he or she is stuck inside a tornado.
