Ramen Shop

"Such a what?" she looked at him questioningly. "You were saying?"

Clears my throat. "Nothing... it's nothing." I continue to eat as my look remains untouched revealing that i'm usually pretty quiet.

"Umm... alright..." she sighed and kept eating.

Finishes eating and looks up at the working cook then tosses his bowl into the kitchen. As t flies, he unsheaths his sword and flings the tail of his sword in after it. The tail catches the bowl and slowly sets it into the sink all with not even a whisper of a sound.

tsumi smiled and sat down. "id like a beef ramen.." he told the cook

Following Tsumi, Yakate sat down beside him, and coughed slightly. "What he said..."

... He never ordered ramen for himself before. Not his fault if he sounded weird.

Kaoru sat down and looked at Yakate. "YOu really fell behind while we were walking, Spy-kun" she pouted and crossed her arms again. "Pssh, I told you he'll slow us down, senpai...."

Tsumi shook his head. "what would you like to eat Kaoru-chan?"

"I like walking slow... besides, it's not like I'll lose you." Yakate brushed hair off his face, then resumed thinking about the thing inside him.

Polar bears...

Kaoru snickered and sticked her tongue out before responding to Yakate "Excuses, excuses... Just admit that you're beat, Spy-kun..." she smiled and looked at Tsumi. "You pick, senpai"

Tsumi laughed "get her a beef ramen to please."


The cook nodded "three beef ramen coming up!"

"okay you two calm down..." tsumi said.

that's not likely boy...they don't seam to like each other...

.... Kaoru acted different when she wasn't serious. Certainly more... carefree? Or something...

"Fine, fine. You beat me. Besides, I feel as slow as a... polar bear today."

Yawning, Yakate put his hands behind his back and relaxed on his chair, waiting for his ramen.

Of course you feel like a polar bear, nimwit.

What was that!? That kick made him too delusional...

"A polar bear? Hey, polar bears are cute! Don't insult them like that, or some polar bear might just end up walking up to you and chomping your head off... In a cute way..." she crossed her arms and then looked at Yakate

I swear, you're really weird, kid...

"Hey, shut it, Kazetori!" she sighed and shook her head.

Fine, Fine...

tsumi looked at Yakate a little worried. "are you okay Yakate? You don't look well..." Tsumi sighed. "Kaoru-chan...be nice."


the chef walked over and handed everyone there ramen "thanks!!" tsumi said before diging into his ramen.

"Grr... I can't help it, Spy-kun over here is annoying me..." she quickly finished her ramen and smiled. "All done!"

You eat fast too... *sigh* You might get fat soon, kid...

"Hey, what?" she closed her eyes and flailed her arms. "Who are you calling fat?! Say that again, you griffin, you!"

Kid, I've seen weird before, but you take the word weird to a whole new level....

"You're so mean, Kazetori...." she crossed her arms and looked at everyone staring at her. "What?"

"I'm... fine. "

"Polar bears aren't cute. They're... white. And hairy. And..." He shouldn't be that mean to a person he just met. Yawning again as a fake interruption, he said "And also... erm... cute."

You still can't guess what I am? And no, you're not delusional, idiot.

This time Yakate was sure he wasn't just hearing things in his head, something was inside him. And it hated him. With a passion. Whatever it was...

"Who the hell are you!?"

A polar bear? And listen to the girl, kid, I might just chomp your head off. someday... in a cute way.

Tsumi sighed. "both of you be nice...and Yakate...out of all the people to be dissing Polar bears...your not the one that should..." he said as he finished his ramen

Boy you have some strange friends...

Kaoru looked at all the people in the ramen shop. "Hey, senpai?" she nudged him and had a slightly nervous face. "What are they all staring at?"

"there staring at us...you two need to learn how to mask your chakra...or everywhere you go people will just stare...and possibly hate you..the stealth you had before Kaoru-chan...will be useless unless you can learn to mask your chakra." Tsumi said with a sigh.

SIghing, Yakate looked at his ramen. Sniffing it slowly, he took a deep breath, and began eating it.

Thanks for the hot meal...

"God, you're scary. We need to get to know each other soon... "

Of course we do. What's the point of being sealed inside a person if I can't have fun with him?

"Mask our chakra? I am doing that.... I think that they just think that I'm acting strange and stuff......" she sighed and looked at Yakate. "It's all Spy-kun's fault" she whispered.

"yea well Yakate...isn't.." he paused for a second "Yakate tell the polar bear he needs to stop releasing his chakra so much."

She's onto us...

"She always was... what?"

She won't let me show off my chakra...

"Then stop it... polar bear."

Show off chakra? What was this thing inside him? Extremely... weird. And it thought it was powerful enough to release chakra by itself. What was it, exactly? He really needed some free time with it...

And finally, he finished his ramen with one, final gulp, feeling gloated, and much better than before, not even stinging from the pain of the kick anymore.

"Hmmph, Spy-kun should try hiding his chakra, he's making too much waves..." she sighed and looked around. "They're still looking at us...."

"Yakate i think its time you went back to the village....and meditated...go talk to your polar bear friend...find out its name...and what not...get to know each other..." Tsumi said slightly hoping to get rid of Yakate for a little while.
