The Ruins of Illusion

The sun was slowly setting over a vast area of the Country's west forest area. The snow was falling, had been all day, until the snow was atleast knee high. The wind had died down, so atleast it wasn't freezing...

"Oh my...its so cold.. I'm regreting not getting a warmer coat from the clini- Ahchoo!!" Raina covered her nose with her sleeves. Shaking it off she adjusted her earmuffs and walked on, trudging through the snow. She had to keep going. It was the aniversery...

"Shinsake! W-Where are going!? Why is the Village on fire?!" A short blonde child was being carried by a white hair, slightly older child. "Hush Rialen, just don't worry about it!" Rialen was crying as she looked behind them at the distant burning Village of Illusions. "But..Kanko and all my friends.." Shinsake kept running to his fullest extent. "Rialen.."

A few years had passed.. Every year Raina had traveled back to the Village's ruins, to pay respect for her friends and Mother. Usually her brother Shinsake joined her, but... he was busy away..

Raina made her way to a large tree. Like she does every year, she waved her hand infront of it, deactivating the illusion. The tree, the surrounding area, disappated, and the large, snow covered, burned remains of a once great Village. Raina knelt and folded her hands in prayer. She layed a black lily down and went silent.

"Oh my friends... I wish we could've saved you as well.." She bowed once.

"And.. To Mother.. We miss you everyday.. I wish I could bring you back most of all.." She bowed again and started crying. "..."

A tremor of spiritual energy pulsed through the ground around Raina. She quickly opened her eyes and blinked. The Village ruins.. the forest.. it was gone.. Everything was black.

"I-I'm caught in a genjutsu?! Release!" She charged chakra behind her eyes and blinked again. Nothing happened. "Oh no.. What's going on?!" She stood and opened her coat to weild Valxion when she saw it. A white figure walking towards her.

"....."

The Figure, was ghostly white... dressed in.. Royal robes.. Raina activated her Xzeno eyes. The figure didn't have a heat signature.. Which means... He wasn't alive..

Raina backed up and pointed Valxion's blade at the advancing figure. "Halt!!" She cried out. "Who are you?!"

The figure stopped and his face curled into a smile. "Oh.. My baby girl doesn't even remember her old man... I always knew you were the slowest of your brothers, but not the stupidest..."
