Day after day passed and there was no chance that I couldn't notice how the colors of everything around me became fainter and fainter.
I thought that I had eye problems so my mother took me to the local doctor. He said that there were no problems with my eyes. I believed it was all my imagination.
Until one day I found out there were no colors - everything was grey. I quickly went to see the same doctor but his place was closed so I decided to stop by somewhere in town on my way to work. The doctor like everyone else was also grey and his face looked apathetic just like everyone else's faces. The doctor did not find any problems and dismissed me with no tips or suggestions.
When I was walking down the street to work that same day I suddenly stopped in one place. I lost control of my body and fell down on my knees with no strength to call for help as the colorless people passed me as if I was invisible. My hand reaching for help finally went down on the ground in defeat and I could only take one look at the sun - the last bastion that remained colored but as I kept looking at it, it's color faded away and something transparent resembling me was in the sky but as soon as I saw it, it disintegrated in thin air.
"My..my soul?" I barely muttered to my self. "Nah...just my imagination." I smirked.
I finally stood up and it was less than a minute when I had forgotten about this event of mine.
I stepped into the colorless crowd and my face, my walk, my mind, my heard merged with them.
And my color ?
It was gone.
