Genkaku Bloodline

Background Description: For a long time the Genkaku clan faced a serious problem. They were excellent in using Genjutsu and Ninjutsu, as their past ancestors had recorded on scrolls but something happened in between generations that caused a problem. There was a difference that set apart the normal clan members, and the clan members who were blessed with the bloodline abilities. One problem was comas. The person who was to receive the bloodline abilities always slipped into a strange coma, and it was rare for one to survive the coma. The second problem was that, if the person lived through the coma, their chakra was effected because of strange brain and body activity during the coma. When activating Techniques such as Ninjutsu the chakra remained calm and steady, able to be used easily. However when Genjutsu was attempted the spiritual and physical chakras in the body didn't meet right, and the chakra became erratic and haywire, meaning they couldn't properly disrupt their opponents chakra flow because their own chakra was too uncontrollable. After several years the Genkaku clan tried methods of all different sorts, until finally a solution had been found through hard, tense training.

Illusion Bite~ Illusion Bite is the main ability of the Genkaku clan and is a Bite Mark Technique. The Genkaku hadn't been thinking about it before, but the erratic behavior of their chakra would be the perfect disruption of some ones flow, if only the could get it calm and steady long enough to reach the opponent. Finally a solution had been made through this ability. The clan through years of hard intensive training had learned to control separately their spiritual and physical chakra's. The physical chakra would be injected into the opponent(s), by means of biting them. When this task was complete the user could then use his spiritual chakra and attempt using a genjutsu. The disruption happens and the chakra inside the opponent(s) turns haywire like normally. This creates for the perfect disruption of the opponent(s) chakra. The disruption does not stop the flow of the opponent, but simply turns it erratic. Since the haywire chakra is now in the opponents body, it leaves the Genkaku user free to create the illusion he wishes. This has a few perks one being that the haywire nature of the chakra in the opponent utterly obliterates any chances of the opponent stopping his own chakra flow as well as if multiple people are bit, multiple people can be put in genjutsu at once. Strangely enough a seal appears on a person after being bit. The seal is there for two purposes. One is to help the member keep track of who he's bitten, and the second is so that the person has a means of removing the effects of the bite. It seems the seal has no other reason to be there than that, and gives it no other special feature. The effects of the bite can be removed by someone of equal or greater power of the person who bit them.

The method worked nicely but two issues still remained. One was the problem of the comas, where it was believed the person was enduring some sort of physical problem in their comatose state that was so severe, if the person didn't live through the ordeal the body would shut down from exhaustion and stress, killing the person. Another problem had be brought up by the new method, and that was that biting someone was very hard to do, especially against a strong adversary. Finally the Genkaku clan resorted to praying to the gods, as they could not find a solution to their problems. For years and years they prayed until finally, after much loyalty and servitude one of the gods struck them a deal.

Benten, the goddess of love, had created a solution. She would put each members who would receive the bloodline abilities through a set of three tests while in their comatose state. If through these 3 Hallucinogenic tests the person survived they were blessed with a second, minor ability to help them with their problem. This solution was the Munashii Boushi.

The Munashii Boushi is a Doujutsu utilizing the eyes. If the person passes the three tests in their coma, then they are rewarded with their life, and the Munashii Boushi. It is a seductive eye technique that draws the opponent to look into their eyes, and if eye contact is made, the person will be immobilized. The method in which the person is immobilized depends on how much experience the person has gained using the Munashii Boushi. Different from other eye doujutsu this one has no physical difference between power levels or really even that great of a power change, only the method used changes, which makes this a minor doujutsu. For the lack of a word the different methods will be referred to as stages. These stages are as follows:

First Stage~The first stage is the easiest to keep active, but the least effective stage. The users eyes turn into a stunning, sapphire-blue color and take on a hazy, mist-like effect. This is so alluring to the opponent(s) that he is tempted to look. If eye contact is made a forceful blast of chakra is aimed at the opponents mind, and will stun the opponent momentarily.

Second Stage~The second stage is a bit harder to keep active, buts its chances of effect on the opponent are decent. The users eyes turn into a stunning, sapphire-blue color and take on a hazy, mist-like effect. This is so alluring to the opponent(s) that he is tempted to look. If eye contact is made a soothing, very mystical, yet inducing force of chakra will be aimed at the opponents mind. This is stronger than stage one but isn't forceful. Instead it lulls the opponent to sleep. Only the strength of the opponent will determine how long they are asleep, but normally it is a few minutes.

Third Stage~The third and final stage is the hardest to keep active, but the most effective on the opponent, usually never failing. The users eyes turn into a stunning, sapphire-blue color and take on a hazy, mist-like effect. This is so alluring to the opponent(s) that he is tempted to look. If eye contact is made the opponent is instantly put into a genjutsu which is a reflection of one of the three tests the user endured during his comatose state. These genjutsu are known as their perfect genjutsu, as they are blessed by the goddess of love and are the only three genjutsu that can be used by Genkaku without their chakra turning haywire. This action happens so quickly that the opponent may not realize they were put into a genjutsu, making this method the best. This stage gives the most time for the user to try and bite the opponent(s). Though the three genjutsu in this stage can ONLY be used by these means.

Now the First stage is normally unlocked at Genin level, the second stage at Chuunin level, and the third stage at Jounin and above level. Now the second part of the bloodline, which is actually the main part and is not so noticeable. The Munashii Boushi is just a set up ability, which is ironic since most Doujutsu in bloodlines are the main power. In this case the Illusion Bite is the main ability of the Genkaku bloodline.

This had solved the problem of the complications of biting someone, as their new ability was very helpful in keeping an opponent still long enough to bite them however the members still had trouble living through the coma. It seemed that the tests by Benten were too hard for most. They tried several methods until finally one of the clan members had survived, and to his account without sever trouble. His background was looked at and it found nothing except that he was an orphaned child, his parents having been killed when he was young and had been left, no one to take care of him and protect him from the harsh unfair world except for himself. This man had passed the test of hardship, the test that life brings.

This man was appointed a teacher of the ways of "Hardship" after a time and was helping slightly. Still he needed a better environment, as not always everyone had it as rough as him. That was until one day he found the village of Ketsuekigakure. This village was a militarized village, full of unfair people, hard situations, and unforgiving people. He knew this village would be the perfect environment for his clan, and so the clan had moved to this village and become members of it every since. With the new environment and new way of life in this village a multitude more of members started surviving their comas and so all was finally well within the clan.

Elements: Ice. This element is the only element the members can obtain from the bloodline and is so dominant that only one other element can possibly be trained by the bloodline holder.

Clan Jutsu~ These jutsu are ninjutsu, and are especially designed to further help the chance to bite the opponent. They are used in synchronization with the Munashii Boushi.

o-o Um, genjutsu techniques work by distorting the flow of your victim's chakra in a way to your advantage. So only those with good enough chakra control can perform illusion techniques. o.o

Implanting your chakra on the opponent doesn't really help you cast illusions on your opponent, unless you have the power to control your external chakra at will outside of your body. o_o

Ok yaka I reworded it better so that you might understand why I have it set up the way I do. All of what you read before is what the original idea was, I just did a not so good job putting it into understandable words.

Erm...You disrupt your chalra flow to get rid of a genjutsu o-o; I'm kinda lost with that part...

Also, can they use nin and tai jutsus normally? Or do they need to bite for that too? o.o

Otherwise, I like the concept of the clan, the side doujutsu and history. It's has balanced weaknesses and strengths (you might want to think about maybe replacing the one about having high chances to die as child, cuz no one wants to rp his own death) and the idea of your bloodline is original.

Your confusion about the genjutsu method is as good as mine. I thought the same thing you did, that you disrupted your own chakra flow to get rid of a genjutsu, the Kai Release Technique. However Yaka stated just then that it was the opposite, and to place an opponent under a genjutsu you needed to disrupt their chakra flow, so I was going by what he said.

Also yes they can use Nin and Tai and Weapon without needing to bite someone, its only when trying to use genjutsu. As you will find out later a clan member may have 3 arts her performs in, the two clan specialties nin and gen, and one other he uses to give him a better defense. His/her performance in this field isn't of course as great as nin and gen but they can perform well enough to give them some sort of basic defense.

And about the genjutsu thingy, if people are disagreeing, go read Naruwiki please~ ^^

Okay edited a small line in the Illusion Bite description. I changed it so that the haywire chakra screws with the opponents chakra, but doesn't stop the flow it just makes it haywire. Which now makes the seal appearance even more of a balance. Since the chaotic, unstable nature of the chakra would make it nye impossible for the opponent to stop his own flow, and thus why the seal appears, to balance that out and give the opponent a chance to remove it.

So everything should make sense now.

Opponents chakra gets turned into a chaotic mess, severely cripples ability to stop his own flow, seal appears, gives chance for opponent to remove seal.

Note~In all fairness though the seal shouldn't be too simple to remove. I mentioned earlier that it can be removed by someone of the same or greater power than the person who gave them the bite. I realize this will obviously be easier for someone who might indeed be of greater power, then someone who was just of the same power level, so I made the crude outline below to balance how this is determined out. Tell me if you like it.

An example:

Genkaku Member A is a D rank(genin) ninja, who bites Opponent A who is also D-rank (genin) ninja. Opponent A will need to remove the seal with no less than 4 posts each post containing no less than 4 paragraphs. Opponent A could get the help of another ninja whose name is Opponent B. Opponent B can be anyone, a friend a sensei doesn't matter. Lets say Opponent B is a B-rank (Jounin) ninja. Opponent B would only need a minimal of 2 posts, each post with a minimum of 2 paragraphs.

That should balance that part of the bloodline out a bit, so I don't have people in the middle of battles trying to cheat me out and be like "He got bit by the Genkaku member and quickly removed the seal before he could be put into a genjutsu" and do some crappy one liner removal.

Huzzah! Now I shall go post x.x. I have to train my Ice element in the forum before I can use it. Even though its bloodline element seems kinda crappy if I don't since its already an advanced element.

I'm getting tired of reading entire clan profiles. v.v' I would've take Asa's past word for the clan, and deem it worthy of being used in the site.

BUT.

The clan is very confusing, and the creator of the clan isn't here with us at the moment. The 'Munashii Boushi' ordeal is something all of the clan members would want to go through. Without the original maker of the clan, it would be impossible for us to know to what extent the ordeals are difficult.

If anyone takes a particular interest in the clan, he/she is free to post in this thread and let me know, and I'll try to do something with it.

But I suggest no one join the clan for now until the clan leader / clan creator shows up here.
