The Legends Eternal~ [Private~Surp and Sora only.]

Entities of greatness normally survive on their will to remain in peoples' hearts. Thus their memories are alive, and they, even if they are dead, are not truly ever gone from this world. Luckily, the legends that shall come to pass in this story, are not close to that stage at all. In fact, they are far from it. And so the adventure begins.

"Man, that was some workout. I'm glad I did it, it's like I can feel my muscles growing and my body becoming stronger. This will definitely help in the long run."

A pink haired girl spoke slightly out of breath. She was panting from all the training she had just done. She was a ninja of the Aurora Village, the village where she grew up and was taught everything she knew. By two well revered teachers. One was a past Kage, XzenIcisia, and the other, a well reknowned Sannin, Kazuki Shikimori. She was lucky to have had such teachers, that made her truly strong. But, she had grown now, even though in the past facing many difficulties, and matured. She was now the Kage of Aurora, a position she never dreamed she'd ever come to be in. And yet here she was. Her name was Seirei Sora.

Although she had achieved the rank of Kage of Aurora, she was not in the village at the moment. She was out training in her favorite woods nearby. Being that she was a tomboy, she loved to sweat and get into ninja sport and things like that. But, she deemed that it was time to go back, it wasn't good for a Kage to be missing from a village for too long. She had an acting Kage for when she decided to go train, but she started on her way back to the village anyway. Only to have more issues face her brain.

As Surpent walks the winding path through the trees, he ponders how he got here. He had decided to take a new path the other day and now, it has left him completely lost. All the trees, even the animals seemed new to the wandering shinobi.

Sighing as he stops, his hand wipes sweat from his brow and he looks up at the canopy. "This isn't good for my reputation." He says as he laughs slightly. "Oh bother, this trails bound to end up somewhere sometime." So, with a shrug, he continues on down the trail.

Sora was the topic of the last post I made, and she is also me. I'm Seirei Sora, so from here on out, I will be narrating if that's cool with you guys. Wait, why am I asking?

I decided to go out upon the trail instead of taking the route through the forest. The scenic route wasn't exactly working for me today. But as soon as I found my way onto the path that was just outside and bordering the forest, I came across a figure whom seemed to be walking towards the Aurora village with determination. It was a male and I wondered why he was going to the Aurora village, however, then ... I recognized him. That was Surpentheon. I smiled and seemed to walk up to him, being the roadblock in his path. I greeted him.

"Hello."

Stopping as the female shinobi blocked the path, Surp smiles widely and greets her happily. "Hello there. I tell you are sight for sore eyes. I'd begun to think i was on my way to nowhere." He laughs as his hand ruffles his own hair. "Could you be as kind as to tell me where exactly I am going?"

"Hi, you're on your way to the Aurora Village. You mean to tell me, you don't recognize me?"

I looked at him, he was friendly by his gestures. Of course he was, I did recognize his identity. And we did know each other for some time. But it came as a small shock to me that he was more concerned with the destination than he was the memories that could have played in his mind. But it was cool. I understood what he was doing, trying to fratenize later so that we would be in a safer place when we talked. I got it, I wasn't stupid, but then I smiled and spoke again.

"I'm actually going back that way right now. See, the Aurora village is where I'm from. Might I ask your ocassion of going there?"

"Well, truthfully, I'm a wanderer. But it seems I've wandered far to long for this road holds no memories for me. So, I've found myself to be completely lost. I've been to the Aurora Village before as a young shinobi and even trained there as well as helped train others, but I must say, this road must be new."

He smiles wide at her and lowers his hand from his head. What she saw before her would seem the same as she once knew, but there were many changes if one was to look closely upon him. His physic, his robe, even a few scars here and there, all of new origions.

"But, now that I've seen you, I'm starting to think I'm the one that's new these days, that or just plain old and out of place. Anyways, thank you Reirei, your help would be greatly appreciated."

He ended his thanks with a big grin that stretched from ear to ear. He wondered how she'd react.

"Hey, that's great. You remember me. Maybe we should talk once we get back to my village, or- The Aurora Village, yeah."

I could sense that he was stronger than before, if only by a little to a lot. Few and far between, eh whatever. I didn't exactly pay attention to details a lot, hence I did not notice the small changes in his physical appearance. But I did misspeak. And if that wasn't enough, he could gaze upon my form to find sheltering my body, white robes with a distinct design to them. Kage's robes.I smiled and nodded though.

"Let's go back and talk there, alright?"

"Yes, yes inded. And I'm sure we've both got plenty to talk about." He motions for her to lead and makes ready to follow.

Soon we arrived back at the gates of the Aurora Village. I smiled and they opened as the guards stepped aside and let us in, instantly recognizing both of us. I smiled and led the way to the Kage's manor, and soon before we knew it, we were inside the Kage's office. There stood an empty chair and a semi messy desk with scattered papers everywhere. I sighed pleasantly.

"Welcome, Surp. Now, how have you been old friend?"

As I looked around, I remembered what it used to look like. Not a whole lot had changed. "Oh, I've been well. Been gone for a while and seen a lot of new places, but nothing beats coming back to something familiar."

"Cool, well my power is still coming back to me. Ever since that incident, everyone has been shocked at my existence again and much more, my power. I mean, my power was lost to a Jounin level, but I've been doing some training and because of the absence of leadership in this village, somehow I became Kage. That made me really happy, but I never stop working hard and training, if I can protect this village and my friends, I will. It's great to see that you're still around and well, and I'm glad that you've come back. I actually was supposed to meet with someone today, they say there is a village on the rise. I have to meet with their Kage so that there is no future conflict between us. Make a pact, you know? I have word that this village is called, The Sun Village."

I sat there at my desk and relaxed back into it. It was now that we could talk and relax until a new mission had to be issued or when the Kage arrived here. But up until that time, I could enjoy my friend's company.

"Oh really? The Sun Village is rising? Interesting, then their making progress." He smiled as if he had some fond memories of the place, some amazingly fond ones. "Oh, welll, would you happen to have tea? I find myself somewhat parched."

"Sure."

I nodded to two ninja whom were in the room whom seemed to understand the nod. They nodded as well and then left to perform their task: That of making tea for myself and for Surp. Although then a confusing look came over me and I continued the discussion.

"Yes, it seems they are making progress. You see, they just have gotten their freedom from those that tried to seize the area. One female is really making history in that small village. Getting and giving power, spreading it. It is fluctuating quite nicely. She's their new Kage. Wait, you sound as if you know the place I'm talking about, do you Surp?"

Scratching his head again, he nods. "Well, um, yes actually. I crossed it on my travels. Very hot place, but not a bad place to live if you can withstand it's weather."

"Well that would be a great difference from this frosted place. Although it isn't that bad if you have adapted to the weather, like me."

I smiled softly but then an anbu black ops ninja dropped into my office with word of something. He spoke quite deliberately and abruptly.

"Kage Sora, we've received word that the visitor from the Sun Village is here. She is here to meet with you, and is just now walking through the gates to Aurora. It is the Kage, ma'am."

"Then send her in here. I have to meet with her don't I? Tell the guards to stand down and everyone in the village to put down their arms. It is your duty to escort her here."

"Understood."

With that he was off to do his commanded duties. I awaited the arrival of this Kage. And smiled at Surp, that being a sign that he can stay.

Surp turned and watched the doorway in hopes of getting a good glimps of this new Kage Sora had spoke of.

Soon, in walked a female of about the same height standing before me. I had risen to the occasion, to of course, be polite. But then my eyes narrowed upon her form. She was clad in her clothes in the same manner I was. She lad semi long brown hair and blue eyes. That was one thing we had in common, blue eyes. And of course she had the air to her that only could resemble power.

"Welcome to the Aurora Village, I am Seirei Sora... pleasure to meet you."

"Greetings, it is a pleasure to meet you Sora-sama, I am Ayameko Hirosaki, the Kage of the Sun Village. Now, shall we establish the contract of peace in the hopes our villages shall never clash in battle... Surpentheon-kun.."

"Yes, we- Kun? kun...? Surpentheon, kun? Why did she just say that?"

They knew each other somehow I was sure of it. That look in her eyes was that of recalling memories and flashbacks. I had to stop this. We were here to make a pact not reminisce about old friendships. And to tell the truth, I really didn't like her attitude and her ways of acting. I mean she can drop the noble act and the refined language... >>

The second she had walked through the door, Surp's jaw dropped in surprise. She had been the last person he had expected of walking through that door. "Ummm... yeah... wow... it's you..." He didn't know what to say. This day was turning out to hold many surprises.

"You seem awe struck, or rather as if you're seeing a ghost. Are you alright, Surpentheon?"

She comes into my office, politely and now seems to be fratenizing with one of my good friends. Did they know each other? They had to have, otherwise why would she be speaking to him like that? Ugh, this makes me so mad! She was here to make a pact right? Stay on task till the end if what I was taught, more or less, I didn't know her, so I didn't know what was going on in her head at this very moment. Ugh polite people like her who act all noble, bother me so much.

"You can drop the act, Aya, we're all friends here."I spoke with fake affability in my voice.

"What act do you speak of Sora-san? I am afraid I don't have a clue as to what you're talking about."

Nodding, he moves to Aya and kisses her hand. "Awe-struck would describe it quite sutiably. Always a delight to see you dear Aya."

"You don't have to be so formal around me, Surpentheon. But, I understand that it is just in your nature. I sure hope that I haven't struck you too much into awe. You need your senses to be always aware, after all you are one of the grand sannin are you not?"

She smiled. I had to admit the smile was innoent and sweet. I suppose what just in her nature to do that as well? Yeah, she was innocent and sweet, and npble and I hated that. I was putting up a pretty good front of "fake affability". I smiled half-heartedly, though it looked like a real smile. Never would I have ever guessed that the next thing she did would have ever happened.

"Well, this is nice. A reuniting of friends right here in my office. Maybe I should have made 3 cups of tea. I'm sorry Aya for-"

"Sora-san, don't you insult me with fake emotion. I can tell by the look in your eyes and slight tone of change in your voice that you are not truthfully feeling these happy emotions. I apologize if I am causing you distress at this moment, but I have not seen Surpentheon for much a time, I apologize, I should be focused but because I am here, does that not mean I should not seize opportunity while I still can? He is here, a perfect opportunity, no? I sense the emotion you feel at this very moment is a mix actually, one that leads into the other. Anger and Jealousy."

Suddenly the look in her eyes became serious and I seemed to blink. IF she wanted me to be truthful. That's exactly what I was feeling. But, how did she know all of that?There she stood and I was totally in awe.

Blinks between the two of them. He had almost forgot about Aya's ability to be like an emotion sensor. This could make or break things here. And it's not everyday that he sees a woman he has feelings for either. So he stands there looking between them and wondering what will happen now.

OOC: My fingers are getting too lazy to really make these posts colorific as I have before. So the actions and whatnot they'll all just be in normal font, and when sora and aya are speaking, they will be in their respective colors. I didn't know you still had feelings for Aya, Surp? And, remember she's good at picking up emotions, like you said an emotion sensor, but not good at picking up love. That is the one emotion she is blind to.

Our eyes were caught in a serious stare. Sure, internally, I was still somewhat mad and slightly jealous, but not by much. Outwardly, I was more surprised on how she just read my emotions as if it were a book. I suppose there really are empathics in this world, or maybe she was just good at percepting those kinds of things. She did seem like the sensitive type. But, I wouldn't doubt that she still contained strength to some degree as well. Our eyes weren't leaving the others gaze and there was a moment of silence between us, before I sighed and smiled, for real this time, sincerely, and chuckling too.

"You know, you're really good at that. I'll admit, that's what I was feeling. You surprised me, Aya. Now, shall we get to the pact? Maybe we can all go for dinner after this?"

"You are being truthful now, and so I will accept. But yes, this pact, I agree to you Sora-san, that my village will ally yours in war and in desperation. We will never attack, never declare war. And we shall be your eyes and protective arms when you are limited, blind, or ruined. I make this vow, this promise with my whole heart and my word, meaningful, as well as through my word of writing. My signature and my word now holds to your agreement. We are now allies, in my eyes.

"Agreed, and I, promise the same to you. My signature now resides on the document to our friendship and allied nations."

I smiled sincerely and shook her hand gently, our gazes meeting again. This time in a more affable nature.

Surp smiled as his two parted friends now came upon a high pedestal together. But he wanted to add something as well. "I too, shall assist in anyway possible. For as our ties as friends are strong, they shall so strengthen the ties of alliegence. For am a shield as well as a sword. And from here forth, I shall be they sword and shield, hidden among the rose patch." And with that, he places his hands atop theirs.

We both smiled at his statements. Now we had the "ultimate defense", so to speak.

"Shall we go to dinner then?"

I smiled again, as Aya returned the smile and nodded in agreement.
