Travelling for : Explosion

The swamps are always a creepy place, being it in daylight or at night. The trees, the fog, the shadows, the sounds...everything is unsetteling in there for a stranger.

But with the last events, the swamps changed even more; the fog took a purple-ish color, the trees bended and twisted in many strange ways and burned trunks, branches, grass, earth and animals are to be found around, giving the place a smell of death and ashes.
The sky isn't possible to be seen anymore and strange lights keep on appearing above the water, giving the impression of dead people's spirits dancing around in some diabolic waltz.

At the end of the swamp, there is said that there is a youkai hidden in a cave, a handsome young man that can break your heart in a flash...

The sun was blocked out around the swamp by the purple fog. The debree filled dark waters were still and the swamp was almost silent, which was instantly strange...

This is what the Priestess of the Land thought as her raft slowly floated down the swamp's thick river. Laria was raised in a swamp area much like this though the air did not smell so foul and there was wildlife abundant. She also noticed that the deeper she got into the swamp, the less light could be seen from the sun. Quickly grabbing a branch from a twisted tree above she struck it against the hilt of Valxion, it caught fire and dimly lit the area surrounding the raft.

As the red haired Xzeno master drifted through the murkyness she sighed as she tried to remember why she was here and not back home with her two beautiful baby twins.

Laria stood still on the raft, the river was getting much more narrow. That meant she was approaching the end sooner than she thought. Sitting down, making sure not to over tip the raft she got comfortable as she mediated to the thought of her babies waiting for her back home. "Oh Miyako and Zenaku.. Mommy misses you.."

A flash of light shocked Laria. She quickly jumped up, then quickly tried to readjust the balance. She looked around with her Xzeno eyes activated, though could not see a heat signature that wasn't native to the swamp itself. Her skin prickled as the familar feeling of death crawled around her. The reason Laria had come resurfaced. A demonic presence was sensed here. Pyro, her Xzeno flame leo, had scouted the area and found traces of strange activity that Laria knew she had to look in to.

Demons were on the prowl...
