Lost Pond

A small pool of water, surrounded by trees and green foliage, is the result of a large river near by, filling it with crystal blue water. The sun is coming through the trees in beams of golden light as it reaches it's peak in the clear sky.
Ryo stands on a large rock that is jutting out of the pond, enjoying the open air and calmness of nature, as well as the sound of the river near by. His eyes are closed as he takes it all in. Times like this....don't come as often as they should. He wondered how long this would last. Looking up at the sky, gazing beyond the trees, he asks to the heavens, "What do you have in store for me next?"
He closes his eyes again, keeping his face to the sunlight as a gentle breeze moves the trees and sweeps across the water top and his skin. All the while thinking, What is the worlds next challenge...
