The Kaguya clan (かぐや一族, Kaguya Ichizoku) once known as a extinct clan, has been known to have been very barbaric. Select few in the past, namely Kimimaro, possessed the kekkei genkai Shikotsumyaku; this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving Kaguya clan feared it. With the exception of Kimimaro, the clan was killed off when attacking Kirigakure in a failed attempt to show off their ferocity. The clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle, and refused to back down even when surrounded and completely outmatched, preferring to fight to the death for fun. Kimimaro would for years live as the last member of the Kaguya clan, but eventually died of a terminal disease.

In these 300 year's there has not been a production of a Kayuga until the discovery of DNA from one was found in the deeps of where Swamp village lays. The kage there was very interested in having that kind of fighter in the wars against desert so he offer around towards very few selected family's to have this dna insert in their own blood and become able to hopefully born a child, maybe more with the potential to be able to use this Kekki Genkai.

For year's it was tried to have one of these kinds but every chance fail until one day after the old kage had die and a new one was selected that a baby was finally born as a Kayuga. From here on since that male who took leadership of the clan from its parents as a true blood grew up and married a beauitful wife that later on gave more birth towards the Kayuga's clan which now is still living in today's world.
