Chiriko had secretly left the village though a back exit. With a small laugh he quickly made his way out of the village and made his way to the center of the vast desert. "FREE ME BOY!" Shukaku growled as they continued on.

"Just wait you demon...you will be granted your freedom soon..." Chiriko said with a sigh, he had grown bored so he was giving the demon within him permission to go on a rampage. Upon making his way into the desert he began using the sand around him to create a massive body around him that took the appearance of the one tailed bijuu.

"Its time to sleep Chiriko....good night world..." Chiriko said with a laugh as he made a quick hand seal and fell asleep, quietly sinking into the sand body. However this jutsu had a timer at least this time, the jutsu would only last for twenty-four hours.

"I AM FINALLY AWAKE!!!" Shukaku hollered the demon said with a laugh as it began heading for the closet village.

Tanukineiri no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that allows Gaara to take full advantage of incarnation of sand. After being possessed by the Shukaku spirit, Gaara loses control of his body and personality to the demon when he sleeps. Normally as the medium, Gaara does not sleep to try and retain control over himself and the spirit. This limits the true power of Shukaku. However, if he wishes to allow Shukaku to emerge and obtain full control, he can use this technique to place himself into a temporary sleep. To end the sleep, a strong knock to the medium will wake them and end the control of the spirit.
