Throughout history, mankind has built and destroyed civilizations after civilizations, all in the means of obtaining more power and influence. But no generation of man has proven to be more powerful than that of the shinobi. Utilizing a force called chakra, an inner energy, they have learned to create and control the elements that surround them. It wasn't long before these shinobi or ninja were utilized as tools and weapons to gain power. In fact, they proved to be so strong a fighting force that they became the main military force for every major Village on the continent. As the shinobi became more widely utilized and more widely feared, it wasn't long before wars between the major shinobi villages broke out. Each time, devistation resulted on a massive scale.
Now is the time of rebuilding.
The Fourth Great Ninja War has left a great scar across the vast continent. Most of the land that used to be is now barren, and the many great Villages that once stood now sit in ruins, all except for two. These two surviving Villages are all that remains of a once noble and powerful civilization. But their views are as different as water and wine.
The Village of Aurora makes its home in the Snow Country, a mountainous region with vast glaciers. It's beauty forever preserved in the very snow and ice that keeps it almost frozen endlessly in time. Those who live there, though they are strong, tend to wish for peace and common cooperation. They believe that the Fourth War was a sign that it is time to preserve life rather than destroy it.
Whereas the Blood Village lies far south in the Demon Country. Nothing but swamp and wasteland lurks beneath the ominous fog, and shadows forever haunt its hollows. Though it is full of life, any stranger to these lands would think it dead and diseased. The Village itself lies at the thickest part of the fog and is home to mostly viscious and demented followers of the dark arts. Though it is not shunned upon to be kind, most who try, find life harder and shorter than they expect here. It's inhabitants worship the demon gods and believe war and fighting is the way to perfection.
These dueling emotions cause many issues between the Villages and fighting is a common occurance to solve the disputes that arrise. But there is still order among this chaos. For at the head of both these villages is a member who is voted in by council to lead and protect the people. They are given the title of Kage, and they are the key to peace or chaos. For they alone control the very workings of the village and it mass Ninja Army.
For now, things seems to be at a steady simmer, but lurking in the shadows are new and darker powers. Powers with amazing abilities that if allowed to have their way could end the world as we know it. But what are these strange new powers lurking in the shadows of the two remaining powers of old? And do they have names? The world does not want to see a Fifth Great Ninja War,... or does it? Follow us now as we dive into the lives of our young heroes of the next generation as they head out on their journey to seek a new dawn, the Dawn of Shinobi...
